It took 15 minutes to get a drink and during the entire time their water faucet was open at full force. When I asked them if they realized it was open, one of the employees (the slowest person I have ever seen) just said “yes”. So much for malama aina. I will never get back there and you should not if you care for our land! 😩

If you’re looking for good tasting, soft shaved ice, do NOT come here. Not only was the ice so hard and crunchy but the employees were rude and had blank faces on the entire time. The flavors were okay but they did not add one of the flavors that I wanted but I didn’t know that until i tried it and couldn’t taste that flavor. Super disappointed with the ice itself and the customer service.

Ice cream is good added to shave ice. I got the strawberry, coconut and mango; if I reorder I would leave out the strawberry. I gave a 1 star because of the service, not ONE smile from both of them. Guy who took my order just gave blank stares and was not helpful AT ALL. I went back to ask for napkins because my daughter made a mess and he only gave me ONE napkin, I spent over $17 for 2 items and all I get is one napkin really?!??! Ridiculous! Sad, I would love to return for more, great product but, their service is so bad I'd rather go somewhere else where I feel welcomed and not chore.

Just go somewhere else. Service is non existent, didn’t even try to get the 3 orders right…. Should have read the reviews before wasting my money here…. Oh and I threw out my drink, it was so sweet it was disgusting 🤢

I got to try out their large rainbow shave ice for $7.96 tax included and it was good. I really got to enjoy it. The servers were nice and couldn't ask for any better. The service and shave ice and atmosphere were all good so I am very satisfied.

They didn’t fill in the middle of the cup at all, purposely left it empty as employee acknowledged they do that to get the “swirl” when I asked him about it. This was a “large” for $8.49.
DESSERT: Dole Whip - $7.25 (small cup) Pineapple is not my favorite fruit or flavor, yet I had to try it as the name always struck my curiosity. The tartness was my biggest dislike. I envisioned it being more creamy and “vanilla-y” with a hint of pineapple, but the flavor profile was too intense for my palate.
SERVICE: Very mainstream and nothing to write home about.
TIP: The ice cream they serve is an old-time Hawaii brand, Dave’s Ice Cream.
OVERALL: I’ll stick to traditional soft serve & ice cream.

Service was fantastic from the crew. They were attentive and quick. The shaved ice was a little on the unflavorful side, could have definitely used a bit more of that. Great location and the drinks and shaved ice definitely hits the spot when outside in the sun.

Things in HI are kind of pricey, and shave ice is a little bit expensive to some people but if you’re going to get it from anywhere i recommend here, especially if you’re wanting toppings (mochi, jelly, condensed milk) because they load you up!

Ordered a drink and asked a glass of water. Charging 50 cents for a water to a customer.
The spouse and I were in the mood for some Dole Whip, which is what brought us to Zagu. I’ve personally never tried it before today.
