If you’re looking for great Japanese fusion, you have to check this place out! I loved everything I ate—no disappointments at all. I went during happy hour to grab some drinks and found that the spicy edamame and potato salad go perfectly with a Highball. It was the best way to spend my last night in Hawaii. The food was delicious, the vibe was great, and the staff were so friendly. I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in town!

Incredible Flavors & Service! Zigu is a must-visit! The Sauteed Big Island Ginger Pork was exceptionally flavorful—the ginger was perfectly balanced and the aroma from the hotplate was amazing. We also loved the Chicken Nanban bites and the Hot Broth Tempura Soba, both of which tasted great. Huge thanks to David for the wonderful service! He made our meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Great Japanese restaurant, with sushi, hot and chilled noodles, and solid service. I got a chilled soba dish that was fantastic!
Zigu never disappoints! Always serving top quality food made from local ingredients, and top shelf sake. The amberjack is amazing if you like sashimi and if you prefer cooked fish the miso salmon is among the best we've ever had.

Our server, David, was outstanding. It was a busy night because of the marathon going on today and he still was prompt, helpful, and efficient (as well as funny). Food was great. The daily omakase was a great mix of selections. Wasabi shrimp were deliscious. Never underestimate the ability of a namida maki (wasabi roll) to bring you to tears. Zigu’s does not mess around.

Nothing in this restaurant is high quality except the price is high, the menu was so boring I didn’t know what to order, save yourself some time and money go somewhere else. Plus the service was awful, you can see all the servers just standing there talking to each other, no service at all. Low quality food high price never ever coming back again!!!
