10/10 meal, it was the first meals after arriving in Hawaii on Sunday. I love the food, but since there’s no local ones near me because I live in Arizona.

Food: Korean fried chicken with chili combo is flavorful and filling. Saimen noodles definitely hit the spot during a cold and windy day. I also recommend you get their fruit punch because it's different than what you get in the mainland.
Service: fast and friendly staff, didn't have to wait that long to get my big order.
Atmosphere: a homey vibe with a bakery stand on the side of the restaurant.

Stopped by Zippy’s right after landing in Hawaii and it was the perfect first meal! The chicken katsu and loco moco were delicious, and the mac salad was so good. Great spot for a quick, satisfying bite, especially late at night.

Kalihi Zippy’s came through with consistent ono food and a clean, comfortable restaurant — always good to know what you’re getting. The only bummer was the wait time. Even though I just ordered a side mac salad, had to hang around way longer than expected. Still, Zippy’s is Zippy’s — reliable grindz, just hope next time the service is a little faster.
