Fantastic chicken sandwich. I went with the half-spicy option because I wimped out—should’ve gone full spice. It’s absolutely delicious. Portions were generous and it was well worth the $17 and the hour-long drive from Waikiki.

Omg if you like home style French fries and awesome chicken sandwiches this place is not going to disappoint you! Take it the beer place walking distance to be able to eat and drink. And you have some awesome day spent! It’s a lil bit wait and we went with toddler so recommend take stroller and blanket

Highly recommend stopping by and trying Eighty Chicken’s Chicken Sandwich. Each sandwich is as pictured above and the guy that runs it is really nice.
I also highly recommend getting in line when he opens at 12:00 as we arrived promptly at 12:15 and still waited for a little over an hour and by the time we were receiving our sandwiches he was down to only 12 sandwiches left.
If you are at all worried about the spicy chicken sandwich being too spicy, don’t be worried it’s a Thai- Chili Spice and as far as spiciness goes it’s very mild.

Adam, I can't look at any other chicken sandwiches the same. You put them all to shame 😤. THIS WAS THE JUICIEST CHICKEN I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME. Every bite kept getting better. and there were a lot of bitesm THE CHICKEN IS HUGE, for $17?! You'd think he was crazy! hmmm.... im missing something.... OH YEAH, the spicy sauce that was triple dipped on that chicken, was to DIE for. So I must say if you see a line, its worth it. If you don't, consider yourself lucky!!! Happy 4th Year anniversary and I hope to see many more!

This is like getting a tickle me Elmo from the back alley two blocks south from the early 2000’s. Unassuming, the owner came out to take orders of ten at a time, very aloha, very kind. First sandwich was served around 15 after, and the tenth was out at probably 22 after.
The size of these are crazy, photos do not give it justice. One sandwich was both enough, to fill me, and I wanted another just to snack on the rest of the day. Go spicy, it’s like mainland US spicy, not multicultural spicy, the flavor it adds is worth any heat also. If you really are not a “spice” person we heard someone say half and half, and he was okay with that.
The bun was lightly grilled, and lettuce and pickle, my approach to a chicken sandwich though not everyone’s. The fries were potato not sweet potato, no option, and the drink was water or passion fruit.
There is no seating, though there is parking to eat in your car, or a beer “garden” that has some options for seating a short drive away. Only open Saturday and Sunday, this place is worth the travel, the north shore is on the way from town, and the windward north shore is also beautiful.
The hours are not correct, he sometimes sells out over lunch, and sometimes more like 4pm, there are socials he posts photos and messaging. I’m not a follower, glad my friends are.
Thank you for ruining other chicken sandwiches, this was truly amazing.
Vegetarian options: They only sell chicken sandwiches, if you can eat the fries, someone will be happy to have two of the chicken sandwiches.
Dietary restrictions: Buttermilk fried chicken, there is no “dairy free” though the home made blue cheese and “the sauce” both with milk come on the side. The spicy either didn’t have butter, or it was clarified.
Kid-friendliness: There are plenty of options at other food trucks nearby for kids. Unless you want the leftovers, or they will eat just your fries, consider another option.

Passed up Huli Huli Chicken and the overrated Giovanni's shrimp truck when I'm here. When I tell you that this is THE BEST chicken sandwich I have EVER HAD... I genuinely mean that!!! I could not believe how delicious this sandwich was. I got the spicy, and you get a HUGE sandwich, with awesome fries and dips, and a drink, all for $17. Doesn't matter how big the sandwich was, I still finished it in a few minutes cause of how delicious it was. The owner is super awesome as well, amazing energy and overall a great guy. Support this man's food truck, and go get yourself the best chicken sandwich you'll ever try!! The hype is truly worth it here!! 10/10!!!

This is the only chicken sandwich that has bested me. You could feed nine armies with one sandwich. It is delicious beyond compare. The fries themselves deserve their own separate five star rating. Not to mention the service is incredible and man knows his stuff. Get there early.
