The circle island tour we were on stopped here for lunch, and we weren't alone. It was pretty crowded, but with all the long rows of tables and benches you can easily find a place to sit and eat your yummy shrimp. It was a good choice. Be aware that they only accept cash. I believe it was $16 a plate. We got one garlic shrimp and one lemon pepper shrimp and we sampled both. They were both pretty good. They had a young guy playing guitar and singing mellow, recognizable songs. In between he would tell some goofy jokes. The tables were covered so you're not sitting in the hot sun. It was all in all a very nice lunch spot.

Very good shrimp!!!! As a tourist and shrimp enthusiast, I can say it was worth the drive up to the north if you are staying in Waikiki. I got the spicy garlic shrimp, which came with the very tasty sauce/marinade on the rice too, which the regular garlic shrimp did not.

The spicy shrimp and I h shrimp tem are definitely a must. The shrimp is very good and they give you a decent portion. Seating is a hard find because of how many tour groups frequent the spot. The prices are 18+ for food not so sure about the desserts or sides

An interesting, long-standing food shack that handles a lot of tour bus business. When our small group tour bus stopped there, our orders were ready because our driver called ahead. This is good because there were about 100 people already there. We did have to wait in line, though, but the three food lines moved fairly quickly, The menu is fairly simple, with small variations in spices on the shrimp. Portion size is moderate, and all meals were $16 and cash only. All in all, it was ok.

I had spicy garlic shrimps which was good. I suggested not to order the original shrimps because it doesn't have any favor. You have to sit out on the bench.

Meh, the boilded shrimp was overcooked and extremely hard to peel. The rice was super gummy. Staff didnt seem to care if we were there or not. Grimmy tables, no soap in the handwashing station. $16 per plate.

When in Hawaii, Fumi's Kahuku Shrimp is a must! The food is top-notch. Their garlic shrimp is really something special. And for those who love a little heat, the spicy shrimp hits just the right note. But remember, bring cash. They don't take cards. You walk up to a window, place your order, pay, and then wait for them to call your number. There's tables to sit at, so you can enjoy your meal right there. They even have a port-a-potty available for guests. When you're done eating, there's a sink nearby to wash up after peeling those delicious shrimp.Every time I'm in Hawaii, I'd make a stop at Fumi's. The taste and experience keep me coming back for more!

Located on a side street near Turtle Bay, Fumi Shrimp is a shrimp specialty joint that is part of the North Shore's renowned food scene. We happened upon this casual eatery during lunchtime and decided to give it a try.The service speed was slower than one might expect from a street food venue. Despite the absence of a long queue during our visit, the wait time was considerably longer than anticipated. The menu is straightforward but does not disappoint. Each dish - be it the Butter Garlic Shrimp, Spicy Garlic Shrimp, or Tempura Shrimp - comes with seasoned rice and a slice of pineapple, providing a simple yet satisfying meal. The highlight was obviously the shrimps, which, especially in the Butter Garlic Shrimp, were brimming with umami courtesy of the garlic butter. The Tempura Shrimp was a familiar comfort dish, the sweet chili dip adding a pleasant kick, though it didn't leave a lasting impression.Given the reasonably portioned meals and the relatively affordable price point, Fumi Shrimp is certainly worth a visit, especially if you're in the area. The North Shore is famed for its shrimp offerings, and Fumi Shrimp stands as a testament to this reputation. However, while it's worth trying, it might not be the place I'd go out of my way to visit again.

Great butter garlic shrimp! Stopped on the way back from touring the North Shore. It was just the right end to a nice day touring the best part of Oahu.

Stopped by for lunch as part of our Circle Island Tour. Our tour guide called in our orders prior to arrival so our food would be ready by the time our bus arrived. Nice family style seating at long patio tables, meal accompanied by a young fellow humorously singing some tunes, washroom facilities not the greatest but was grateful for a washroom pit stop. Most importantly, we enjoyed our food! The butter garlic shrimps and lemon pepper shrimps were quite delectable, alongside a generous double scoop of rice. Simple plate lunch did the trick of fuelling us for our adventure.

DELICIOUS!!! We were on an island tour and stopped there. I got the spicy garlic shrimp and my friend got the butter garlic shrimp (she is GF). It was out of this world! The rice was great and the pineapple garnish was delicious. Tons of garlic for both orders, you can never have too much garlic! If I see their truck again, I will definitely stop!

We were automatically created with a smile from the friendly staff. They have several options on how you want the shrimp to be prepared. My dining companion and I had the tempura and garlic butter shrimp. Both are excellent!

We had a tour of the whole island of Oahu, and this place is our lunch stop. The place was busy (cause this is the biggest stop to catch a lunch, pretty much for everyone)It is a very busy place, but the service is awesome. They have enough tables to accommodate everyone. Our order didn't take long before we were served. Here is how I am going to describe the food. I ordered the spicy garlic shrimp, the aroma is too die for, and the food is scrumptious! Very savory, the garlic, butter, hot sauce, and pineapple are perfectly blended together and created a perfect delectable aroma for the palette to enjoy. The only downside is that I don't have a picture to share because I was so hungry I forgot to take one.

Cash only unfortunately. Service was fast and friendly. Our rice was not fully cooked and the shrimp was pretty standard. Had to try it as it is always busy with tourists, but I won't need to go back. For $16 on the North Shore, there are better options. Lots of parking is available and they had a guitarist performing, which was nice.
