The Kalbi here is one of the best I’ve had! The short ribs are thick cuts and flavored very well. Portions are very generous and pairs exceptionally well with Giovanni’s scampi shrimp. I only wish they paired the Kalbi plates with a side salad/veggies rather than just rice and noodles.
Originally the place we had drove to the north shore for ran out of plates. Things happen for a reason and I stumbled across this gem. I got the combo plate and let me tell you the portions were generous and the meat was on point. It was juicy and flavorful. Also note this place only takes cash.
Everywhere said closed but we made the drive anyways, glad we did because it was open. I asked the owner and he confirmed they are open despite online saying otherwise.
