As soon as I arrived where all the food trucks are, I smelled something grilling. I went on autopilot and found Kalena's. The chicken was absolutely bonkers good. The fantastic people that run it ooze Aloha. Everyone is ohana at Kalena's. I'm planning another trip back soon and going right back. A hui hou!

The pork and chicken mix plate was overpriced— a small styrofoam container of that was mostly rice drenched in a salty teriyaki sauce. Plus a forgettable pineapple hand pie was $27, wouldn’t go back. Nice guy though

I only had the sample but man that chicken was *chef kiss. The chicken was moist and packed a punch of teriyaki flavor! It had a nice bbq crust. My friend who got it also said the portion was big and the dessert was gas. I should have gotten this instead of Giovanni (it’s over hyped for me - oh noo don’t kill me)

SOOOO GOOOD. Period!! Owner gives you free samples and he is soo funny and friendly, definitely stop by. We ordered “hungry mans plate” and the bisquit with coconut is delicious 11/10!

Very friendly staff and they even offered free samples. The teriyaki chicken and rice was very delicious. We tried a lot of food trucks that were close by and this was the best one by far! Definitely recommend

They advertised the meal as $20 and then charged me $27 on my credit card. The lady probably self tipped. Beware when you’re paying with card. I despise dishonesty. The man (cook) was very friendly though and the food was awesome.
Kalena’s Hut needs to be on everyone radar. Incredible service from the man himself and the chicken was incredible. Solid place to get a bite.

I’ve been in Hawaii for a week. It’s by far the best place we’ve had. We’re staying in Waikiki and drove all the way back to the North Shore today to get it again it’s that good!
