I always recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food. The owner is super passionate about his business and it shows in his food and customer service. The roasted tomatillo salsa is AMAZING. All of the meats are great! It's so hard to pick a favorite. I eat here often and I'm never disappointed! if I'm looking for really good Mexican food, Papis Tacos is my go to spot!If you are in the area, give it a try!
I came here in January of 2025, it's April of 2025 and I'm still thinking of how good the shrimp burrito was. Enough so that three months later I came back to give a 5 star review. I may come back to Hawaii just for this.
This taco and Latino food truck is located in a community of food trucks at the Old sugar Mill historical site. While we were staying at turtle Bay, we came to this place three nights in a row for dinner. My wife got the street tacos every single night from Papi's. I also recommend the shrimp burrito.
We loved getting food here and taking it over to the beer garden walking distance away for some craft local brews.
