The burger itself is very juicy with lots of flavor. However, I thought the taro bun was too sweet to be paired with the other salty flavors. Still a pretty good burger though. The people working there were also very friendly.
If you decide to try the national Hawaiian burger made from a taro bun, then take the time to travel and come here. This is a million times tastier than a regular American burger. We also tried the Hawaiian spicy pineapple burger. I don’t even know which was tastier, both burgers deserve a Michelin star. The bun itself was incredibly tasty, as if it had just been baked. Came here after a day of snorkeling. Very good customer service. They were quick with preparing our food. Their cheeseburger was spicy. The taro fries were a little too dense for me. I really like their taro buns, though.
