Came to Ty's Beach Bus because of the food trucks at Kahuku Sugar Mill area. I ordered Kahuku Corn and Shaved Ice. I found ants in my shaved ice. Yuk. The tray for the corn leaked oil from the bottom. Causing me to wear my shorts with oil stain all afternoon. Not happy.

This was a cute bus with good vibes so I had high hopes. We got the burger and the Oreo waffle and… I’m sorry but this was probably the worst burger I’ve ever had. I think McDonald’s may be better. Thin patty very salty almost like taco meat. The waffle on a stick is a cute idea but tasted like it was made with bisquick, not crispy and kinda a stale fluffy. I don’t often write reviews but had to give some feedback. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing and the other items are tastier. On the positive the staff was super friendly and the fries were nice and crisp!

Ty's Beach Bus is located on the North Shore of Oahu in Kahuku, HI in the food truck village near the Kahuku Sugar Mill. This fun lunch spot, complete with a couple of picnic tables, offers a limited but tasty menu of beach food favorites such as hamburger's, chicken sandwiches and hotdogs. it also offers sweet waffles and churro's. We tried the chicken sandwich and the churro with ice-cream. Both were pretty good. The service was great and the environment cannot be beat.

I ordered two fries orders for my little kids, requested four forks, I was only given two forks, I asked him again for two additional two forks, he said he’s running low, I insist on getting two more forks. If you’re cheap to your customers for two forks, I doubt your food you’re selling.
