Austina's has been our go-to place to eat at the Maui Swap Meet. Garlic fried rice and eggplant omelet are so good with a cup of fresh coffee. Lumpia is very good as well. They serve different kakanin (Filipino snacks) also. I don't know if they still served the famous Maui Swap Meet garlic noodles, that's also a must try.

Ordered the teri chicken and got shoyu chicken. I tried taking it back and asked for teri chicken and the older lady insisted it was teri chicken. I've made both before. I know the difference between shoyu and teri chicken. Ended up giving it to a homeless person. Even he said "thank you for the shoyu chicken"
I was very disappointed that there were basically no food trucks, or stands that sold food (like meals) at the Maui swap meet. You would think that there would be tons of trucks or stands that would sell food because of the high density of people in the area at the swap meets. However, that isn't the case, and this was the only place that sold meals, and I don't think I could've waited to go somewhere else because I was starving, and so this was our only option.I wasn't sure what to expect, but I wasn't very satisfied. We got an order of the hamburger steak, and the chicken adobo. I was really surprised to see our food come out in under 5 minutes, but then I realized that probably meant that the food wasn't made fresh, and was probably just sitting around. I was too hungry to realize that in the moment, but when we first opened the box, my appetite kind of went away because at first glance, the food doesn't look the most appetizing. It just kind of looked slimy and soggy that's all.To be honest, I was kind of scared to take a bite out of the hamburger steak because it was completely drenched in sauce and oil, and pulling it out of the heap of sauce, I was internally sad to see that the patty's they gave me were all gray and had no color or good sear whatsoever. However, when I took a bite out of it I was expecting to hate it, but it actually wasn't terrible. Maybe that was just my hunger telling me that, but the flavor itself wasn't terrible. The food was more on the bland side, and also I couldn't get over the soggy and sliminess of it all, but in the end it wasn't terrible. In the chicken adobo however, there was just a whole pool of oil sitting at the bottom of the box just bathing all of that chicken, but again, the taste wasn't terrible. I'm not saying it's good, it just isn't bad.Overall, pretty disappointed in the meal, but this place was our only option. I also wished the food was fresh, but I could see how that could be hard. Also, another big thing was the drenching oils and sauce on the meats, so next time I would like to see less of that. Other than that, flavors were decent, maybe just a pinch of salt here and there would make it better. But yeah, pretty disappointed in the food, and that is all I have to say.
Went here on 2/1/20 for lunch. Had the grilled fish, my husband had the loco moco and a side of lumpia. I believe they are cash only at this location.I enjoyed the fact they had their own covered seating and they even recycle cans. Wish they'd get rid of the plastic containers for lumpia, but I digress.Food was a good value and one of the only Hawaiian meals you could get at the swap meet (everything else available at other stalls was like a Hawaiian cookie or drink, not a meal.)
