First of all, you get what you pay for. The bearded braddah knows bbq. The bbq was so good if you're from Hawaii you know what it means when you get a "kanak attack"...let's just say I slept like a baby. The ribs had a perfect smoke ring and the other selection of meat and sides were perfectly portioned. When I went he was a one man army running the truck and he served me in a timely manner. Came back two nights in a row! Ray is a phenomenal chef!! This bbq is SO GOOD! And we live in BBQ country—Kansas City. First night the ribs fell off the bone and were perfect with the light and slightly spicy/tangy sauce. (Not a typical sugary mess, thank goodness!) Second night we had the Brisket BBQ and rice bowl with cabbage and onions. OH MY WORD the flavors were incredible together. Melt in your face deliciousness! GET SOME!! Wish I had a pic but stuffed my face too fast. 🥰😍❤️

First visit today at lunch, and I can’t wait to come back. I got brisket and pulled pork, cornbread and mac and cheese. Everything was wonderful, but the brisket and cornbread both stole the show. I have to assume everything is great, but I can’t imagine ordering anything different next visit.

Smoky delicious BBQ. 10/10 for brisket and pork. Mac and cheese was flavorful and toddler approved, too. If I go back I’ll be getting the brisket sandwich again- smoky bbq, tangy pickles, and coleslaw crunch. YUM. The cornbread melts in your mouth and tastes like dessert.

First time eating here and my wife and I are hooked! Got a 5 meat platter to try everything. OMG! The smoke on the meat is so good. Kiawe smoke was perfect. All the meat was moist and meaty. I’m a rib guy and boy they didn’t disappoint . Brisket was so Ono, Chicken? The bomb. Sausage was great as well. Pulled pork was just as good as everything else. Got Mac & cheese and Coleslaw for sides. They didn’t disappoint either. The BBQ sauce is a perfect match with the meat. It is vinegar base and not sweet. I have found my Friday lunch spot. Can’t wait to eat here again. Mahalo Nui Chef!

Good service, succulent, tender chicken, creamy, rich Mac and cheese, the best cornbread I’ve ever eaten, sweet/tangy, moist, very generous portions, enough for two days. I’m definitely looking forward to returning to try out more choices on the menu.

One of 6 food trucks in the lot down in Kahului. Had a delicious bbq pork sandwich. Uses a vinegar base vs. sweet bbq sauce to pull out the sweetness in the smoked meat. Ono!

A hidden gem. I was super hungry and my portion so filling that I have leftovers for later. I ordered the cornbread, it was hot and fresh, so delicious with the honey and butter that is on it. I also ordered the Mac and cheese and brisket. Yum!!! The meat was perfect, nice and soft, and the Mac and cheese was homemade and delicious. I am very picky on Mac and cheese and bbq and this place made it perfect.
