We actually found out about this place from diners, drive-ins, and dives maui episode. We were in the area and wanted to try it. Danny was actually working when we went and was so kind and accommodating. We ended up getting the fried poke and Hamachi kama special. All was ono and portions were huge. We didn't get to try the fresh poke because I'm pregnant, but if you are looking for some good local food go here and you won't regret it.
This was my first exposure to Poke and I’m glad it was here!We got the combo plate (we chose fried poke and regular poke) to get the best of both worlds.The regular poke was fresh with a bright flavor, while the fried poke was cooked beautifully.The combo plate should easily feed 2 people.We got a side of wasabi oil; you only need a hint of it in your bite to light things up. Too much and you’ll choke.

Really good, tasty, big portions and lots lots lots of tuna!!!The only issue is only rice and lettuce comes with, I was just missing a variety of veggies (edamame, cucumber, carrots, etc).
