The service here is the worst probably ever. I’m blown away this is a restaurant with the service here. You’ll see empty tables left and right and they will have you wait on a list with 5 people and not seat anyone. It’s a shame
Chance is way too nonchalant, he look like didnt want to be there, he was no help, our order had 6 missing orders and we told him 2 times and didn’t come back. Very disappointed with this poor service do NOT come to this restaurant
This sushi spot is a fun little stop if you're already at the mall — especially if you're headed to the movies or Fun Factory. The highlight here is definitely the train-style delivery system that brings your order right to your table. It’s a cool gimmick that kids and first-timers usually love.
As for the food, it's decent. Nothing to rave about, but it hits the spot if you're craving sushi without breaking the bank. The quality is solid, just not exceptional.
Service is minimal by design — you order on a screen and the food comes out on the train. Staff is polite, but interaction is limited. If you're expecting lots of personal attention, this probably isn't the place for you.
Atmosphere is nice, clean, and casual — great for a quick bite or a fun little experience.
Worth a try if you're already in the area!
This place is amazing!
The conveyer belt sushi was both delicious and fun!
Waited for a while, rude worker, no well specified app
Thr only have 2 people serving like 20...
Go eat a better local place!! Suggestion
Genki Sushi is always a treat for me when I visit Hawaii. The food came out super fast on the sushi train and was very delicious. But the prices jumped since I been back to Hawaii. The staff especially Mindy was extremely friendly to our group especially the tourists that were with us who never experienced the Aloha culture. Mahalo Genki Sushi!
Took my family here for lunch... The stay we're very friendly... Everything that we ordered was very tasty and came out quickly... Stay safe and blessed everyone... 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Brah, the third time we’ve been and they never made some of our plates. We’ve left each time having to take plates off. This third time we’ve asked for water twice and it took forever to come out.
Local ladies are always so sweet to us when we dine there.
I personally could eat there everyday haha

I do NOT understand why the service is always poor here.
Orders are taken on the phone, a robot brings the miso soups and (ordered) drinks, and the sushi is brought on a train.
We were sat and that was it. No water was offered(or brought) until we received most of our food order and had to flag down the servers for drinks. No apologies, just attitude from the manager and blank stares from the servers.
No one had asked if we were okay throughout our meal and it basically felt like a self serve restaurant.
We were given the wrong sushi twice and one of our sushis never made it to our table. We were already fed up with having to flag servers down for things, that we decided to just deal with it at the register and leave.
This place could be so awesome but the service is always like chickens without heads and idk how or why when most of the work is being done for them.
Step it up.
Things have changed a bit since we were last here. Not only are the order pads a thing of the past, though thank goodness the little food trains aren't, but the ordering system through your phone has vastly improved. There are now complete descriptions of each item, and it allows you more easily to see your tab as you go. Also, they have a few new items on the menu, including fried sweet potato and furikake salmon.
Service was phenomenal today and it wasn't very busy when we got there at about 4:00.
I can't understand the popularity of this place. The sushi is really low grade. My wife is from Japan so I have had a lot of sushi and theirs is really poor quality. The rice was so loose that they fell apart just picking up the pieces. Genki literally means happy I was definitely not happy with the meal.
Easy to order from QR code
I’ve been going to Genkis since I was a little kid with my family. It’s changed so much over the years. Although the technology changed from a conveyor belt to trains that come to your table, the quality of food and hygiene of the restaurant has really gone down. Prices per plate are so high and the food doesn’t look presentable when it gets to you. No pride in their craft what so ever. Plates and the train rail don’t seem to get washed or wiped down it feels greasy. It’s a shame to see a childhood favorite restaurant get rundown. Hope it doesn’t stay this way.
