With a clear conscience, I can say this is not fast food. I’ve lived on Maui for 13 years, and this Jack in the Box has been consistently slow that entire time. Wait times are regularly 15–30 minutes (no exaggeration), customer service is often poor, and orders are sometimes wrong. The food is usually good, and their shakes are great. If you’re willing to wait a long time and aren’t in a rush, it’s worth going - when you have an accurate expectation, waiting is fine.

Waited for 45 min in the drive through for a jr cheeseburger, a coke, and mini churros. They were out of tacos which was super disappointing. We called the other location and they are also out of tacos. Staff was not apologetic at all about the super long wait time. Worst service I’ve ever had at a jack in the box out of 4 different states

Not nice they had one lady working by herself. How is this acceptable? Meatlovers burrito got one of us deathly sick. Threw up after 15 minutes of eating it. Ugh...tacos n chicken safe bet

We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Maui. Everything costs more in Maui but JITB had the same deals as we get on the main land. Our family loves the food at the JITB - so, this was a good place to eat for us.

Coming from another island and walked in jack in box. I was blown away on how filthy the bathroom and dining room was. I didn’t even eat my food because not sure if it’s safe. Unbelievable. The island I came from is we make sure everything is clean.

As I walked in here I was never acknowledged, I proceeded to order my food on the Kiosk. I waited for about 25 minutes for 4 chicken strips, fries and 2 tacos. I took a bite from a taco and it was still cold (frozen), which I notified the employee. I then took a bite from a chicken strips and it was not fully cooked. I never leave reviews on here but today, I was really disappointed.
This is Maui's first JITB that was renovated a few years ago.
ATMOSPHERE: The inside is clean. The drive thru is open 24 hours.
FOOD: Ultimate Cheeseburger I always feel so guilty when eating this. It's pretty much the size of a DQP from McD's but tastes worlds better. And with curly fries? OMG.
Sourdough Jack This is the only other burger I order besides the UC. Its a bit smaller and has a unique taste with the sourdough bread.
Portobello Mushroom Buttery Jack I HAD to try this after seeing the commercial years ago, and it was damn delish! Butter makes everything better. I was surprised that the mushrooms were fresh and tasty, as was the Swiss cheese. I always opt for curly fries but I think the regular fries would go better with this burger.
Jumbo Jack with Cheese This is my alternative to the Ultimate Cheeseburger when I need a small snack. It's a single patty topped with ketchup and mustard, onions, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and is just the right size.
Portuguese Sausage, Eggs & Rice Ask anyone in Hawaii, and they'll say that McD's is the place to get this local breakfast platter, as they've been doing it for decades now. So how does JITB's version compare? IMO, it does not. My biggest gripe and pet peeve is that the sausages were sweet. Yuck! I loathe sweet foods unless it's a dessert. The scrambled eggs were definitely real and not of the Egg Beaters variety but, pass.
Hash Brown While it tasted similar to the McD's one, it was slightly larger, and just as crispy.
Ham & Egg Breakfast Pocket After seeing the commercials I had to try it! Unfortunately, the flour tortilla-wrapped finger food was so bland regardless of the salty ham and fake cheese. No sauce/condiments came with it. Pass.
SERVICE: The drive thru can be super slow more so at late night. Staff are friendly.

Aloha, I had a few coupons and used them. First I looked at the Sign in window. Chicken Cessat Wrap looked good. Not Don't have what was in the window. So, I asked the staff to come outside and look at the sign. Well the Rude Guy got frustrated and accused me of being HIGH!!! I'M a 61yr. old Grandmother, for God Sakes! If he can't Handle working in a drug infested, Kahului, he doesn't Belong in this Or Any Jack in the Box!!!! Posted on 4th of July 5:00p.m. FIRE HIM!!!
