Permanently closedWe landed our airplane then went to find food. Ordered on Google, and Maui Tacos posted the payment ($52.52 for 2 burritos and asada fries). 0 way to get a hold of anyone.

Ordered online and the wife ordered from the wrong location. We were going to napeli kai and wanted the napili village location. We realized our mistake as we got to napeli village. When we called the location to try to correct the mistake . The response from peu, unenene, was too bad. The respondent was rude and used the f word to my wife. We were hungry and tryin to get to our motel so we ordered at the napili market location. The women in the back cooking were laughing among themselves at my confusion and distress. The food was below average and the place was not very clean. Never again. And I will not recommend to anyone.

This by far was the worst tacos and food I've ever had in my life. I didn't know that you could mess up a taco so incredibly badly. They literally tastes like paper. Had no taste at all. Only flavor was from the salsa. We also had a burrito and it was the exact same experience. Service was terrible and the lady couldn't even remember who ordered what from not only us but every other customer. I will never go back here again and I don't recommend anyone to. If you want good service and Mexican food go to La Poblana across the street in the Lowe's parking lot.

I'll keep this short and sour. My family and I were very optimistic about this place . Your pictures look great. I even got something extra just to taste it. I regret this now lol ! I ordered nachos with adobo. Chicken. It was awful! Chicken was boiled, was not adobo the jalapeño aïoli just taste like mayonnaise, old mayonnaise!! the burrito I got wet , canned enchilada sauce not even a good canned enchilada sauce. Carne Asada not good. Not exactly sure how this place stays in business. Must just cater to the tourists , because if you go here once you won't go here again, buyer beware baby! All right potential customer you've been warned.

Good little spot to have good tacos & they have a salsa bar! My favorite taco right now is the fish tacos! Flaky white fish with lots of flavor & I enjoyed some chipotle salsa on top. The wiki wiki shrimp is delicious as well.

TLDR; More expensive than it used to be while the quality suffers and the portion sizes decrease.Maui Tacos' quality, quantity, and price have all changed in recent years, and not for the better. I used to order Maui Tacos 3-4 time per week and used to order their bowls. They used to be about $12. The quality of the meat and ingredients was great quality. The portion sizes were big enough to fill you up, had lettuce, and black beans. Now, the bowls $15 and the Lahaina bowl only contains a small amount of chicken, some rice, guac, and a tiny sprinkle of cheese. No beans and no lettuce. The ingredients they didn't remove are now smaller than before. The entire meal is more like a side dish. The meat was dry and old, the rice tasted like it was made yesterday, and the guac tasted like plastic. I paid $3 extra to get more chicken, which makes it feel like the amount of chicken they used to put in it, making my bowl a total of $18. It wouldn't be so ridiculous if it was filling and high quality, but it is neither. The meal was a joke, and I will not be ordering from Maui Tacos again.I'm guessing it's questionle business decisions like this that likely played a part in why the Queen K location closed down.

This little Diamond in the rough was just what I needed. No one goes to Maui for Mexican food, but if you are tired of Loco Moco and Spam ain't your bag, then hit up Maui Tacos. It's a fast, casual vibe, but the food is cooked to order. I ordered the steak nachos two days in a row. The steak cost $2 more, but I thought it was worth it. You have your choice of black beans or refried as well. The menu is brightly displayed overhead on three large screens. Soft drinks are free refills. The tables have maps of Hawaii on them. So plan your next trip over tacos and tostadas. Did I mention that there's a salsa bar? Try the pickled, jalapeño vegetables and pineapple salsa, you can thank me later. My food was fresh, hot and fast. Visit for the beaches, stay for the tacos!

Grabbed a quick bit and got the street tacos. Oh! My! Goodness!!! It was so yummy!!! I got the chicken. It was so perfect. Just the perfect blend of spice on this juicy chicken. It was so good.Kid-friendliness: Inside and outside sitting so if you have a stroller there’s enough space for both.Parking: The mall parking is huge. You’ll be good.
