We ordered the chicken parmigiana for take out and were terribly disappointed. It was not particularly inexpensive and the chicken ws just slopped into a box with watery sauce and flavorless cheeze that was not even melted. Very margianal meal. Maybe their pizza is better, but the pasta disappointed….

Would recommend! We did delivery to the Kona Tiki Hotel. It took about an hour for a large custom pizza and macadamia nut pesto bread. The wait was reasonable to us, saved us from trekking out. All in it was about $75 - we did a half & half pizza with 3 different topping on each half - - toppings are $2.50 each (delivery fee and tip included). Our delivery person (“Chang”) was super friendly!

I originally didn't leave a comment, but I decided to add this after seeing what the company left.

I don't know a Howard. I didn't order a garlic pizza. I ordered a pepperoni pizza + breadsticks. I didn't even call + complain about my order. I didn't request a refund.

I took two bites of the pizza + one bite of the breadsticks. I didn't like either + didn't continue eating either. I thought the pizza was particularly greasy.

I truly have no idea what the company is talking about in their response to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Decided to order pizza to go for an easy first night in Kona after lots of travel. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the pizza here came out, though there weren’t too many places to choose from without driving far out and this once was highly recommended by multiple sources. I got a half rooster, half garden island pizza and loved the combination. The crust was doughy, yet crispy, unlike the stereotypical undercooked Papa Johns. The BBQ chicken and artichoke side by side was delicious and I appreciated how many vegetables were actually on it, not just a bunch of olives and peppers.

We never leave bad reviews, but this experience at Biennale’s Pizza in Keauhou was so outrageous we feel we have to share. Very disappointed as we love the food there and usually have nothing but good things to say.

We placed a $100 online order and when my boyfriend went to pick it up, the woman at the counter (female worker with dreadlocks) gave him a disgusted look, didn’t greet him, and didn’t say a word. He politely said, “Hi, I’m here to pick up an order for Erin.” Instead of acknowledging him, she just stared again, then walked away to give another customer their order before handling ours.

When she finally began bagging our food, she did so carelessly and ended up dropping part of it on the floor. Mistakes happen, that is not a problem…what is the problem; not once did she apologize or even acknowledge the mistake. The chef had to step in and say they’d remake it, while she sat back on the counter looking through the phone. She also failed to put the remaining food back in the warmer until my boyfriend asked her to. A few minutes later, she walked up and flatly said, “We’re going to have to remake the food because it dropped on the floor,” again with zero apology or accountability.

The complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, or even basic respect was shocking. This was one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing customer service experiences we’ve ever had, and unfortunately we will not be returning.

Wow! Delicious pizza. Thin crust, crispy, but nice thick edges. Shaka pizza was a fun take on the traditional Hawaiian pizza - so good! Everything came out fairly quick, fresh + hot! Ask for ranch to dip the crust in because it is homemade, that's all.

They must have cooked this pizza in a lava tube or something, it was piping hot but so delicious. Would recommend trying the Italian job.

I ordered a to take out Greek salad of $23.44 and plus tip came up to $27. The food was stateless and the dressing did not have the taste of honey. Very disappointed of the size of the salad, which is a Quart size Ziploc bag. I also I’m glad I didn’t order any protein Because it would have been a $50 salad.

The new owners have cause a lot of damage on this landmark Italian restaurant in kona. The food does not have the authentic Italian taste that used to have with the previous owners.
