Black Rock Pizzza - Kona

This pizza is absolutely delicious. I used to eat here all the time when I lived in Kona. Just a simple pepperoni pizza is soo good. They put garlic butter on the crust and it makes the whole thing so delicious. Can’t wait to go back one day!

Being from upstate NY, our pizza standards are pretty high—and Black Rock Pizza delivered. The classic combo pizza and pepperoni rolls were exceptional, and we’ll definitely be back.

Nothing special, really. Their pizza is okay, rather average. $7 for cauliflower crust is not okay, rather a ripp off. They don't have any drinks other than soda or tap water, no lemonade or beer or anything like that. Too loud music to make the outside seating pleasant. The stuff was nice and helpful. But overall, it's not worth the price nor the hype.

Ordered pizza, didn't arrive. Man on phone was extremely rude, refused to do anything. Refused to even refund me. Said it isn't their responsibility and that their delivery company would have to fix it. Never fixed it.

I know, I know, you didn't come to Hawaii for pizza. I have a son who's a picky eater and this place delivered on flavor. It's in my top 5 for pizza places and my son's too. The place is super busy all the time and there aren't a ton of tables. If you are patient and pleasant to the staff everyone is super friendly and helpful. Lots of wonderful people working there.

We had their Garlic Breadsticks and the Da Greek pizza, and both dishes completely exceeded our expectations.

The garlic breadsticks were incredibly soft and pillowy, with a wonderful buttery garlic flavor that melted in the mouth. The accompanying dip was equally delicious, creamy, flavorful, and served generously enough to enjoy with every piece.

The Da Greek pizza was truly exceptional. As a big fan of feta cheese, this pizza was an absolute treat for me. The tangy, salty feta paired perfectly with the fresh, vibrant toppings, creating layers of flavor in every bite. Each slice felt like a little celebration for my taste buds, and I absolutely savored it from start to finish.

We ordered at 4:30 to be delivered at 6. Received text at 6:30 that the pizza was picked up and on the way, didn't get our cold pizza until 6:40 after excuses by delivery driver.
