My husband and i ate there in early June 2025 i had the best meal I have ever eatten in my life ! I never finish my plate and i mean never! I ate every last bite ! It was ono fish on a bed of rice with a peanut sauce and shrimp! Please i prey you open back up ! Hands down u are our favorite place to eat , not only was the food and drinks amazing but our server was absolutely amazing
Foster's Kitchen Kona is a hidden gem and a favorite dining experience on the Big Island. The food is absolutely amazing, consistently fresh, flavorful, and clearly made from scratch with pride, blending island flavor with gourmet finesse. Dishes like the ono fish on a bed of rice with a peanut sauce and shrimp, fish tacos, Ribs, Shrimp pasta, and Gumbo are all excellent and packed with flavor. The restaurant is also noted as a great choice for vegetarians.
The atmosphere is relaxed, vibrant, and welcoming, perfect for soaking in the Kona vibe. The upstairs lanai offers one of the best ocean views in Kona, with breathtaking scenery perfect for sunset. The staff is super friendly, fantastic, welcoming, and professional, making guests feel like family. A minor note is that there might be a wait due to fewer servers. It is more than just a restaurant; it is a place you feel good supporting.
