Only take away…so this worked out perfectly for our picnic lunch. Highlights were the Rueben and surprisingly the potato salad, both flavorful and well seasoned. Rueben was loaded nicely with pastrami and balanced with sauce. Honorable mention was the Mac salad, loved the addition of crunchy carrots and peppers. Wouldn’t repeat the Italian…I know I know…and the brownie. The Italian had a good deal of meat which was awesome, but almost as if a jar of pepperoncini juice...
In my humble opinion, the East Coast has the edge when it comes to deli sandwiches. When my wife and I tried Christie’s Deli for the first time, I said, ‘They’ve got to be from the East Coast.’ Hands down, this is the best deli sandwich you can get in Kona. 5⭐️
