Excellent Acai bowels we will be back
I drove from the airport to get a shave ice before leaving Hawaii….and there is a note on the door saying be right back…many people have left…..sooo disappointed
The person taking our order seemed to resent having to provide service or process our payment and when we received our shave ice bowls the center of the ice scoop had no flavored syrup. They used so little flavoring it didn’t even cover the ice! The “snow cap” of condensed cream was also very sparingly applied. All round a very disappointing experience. We will not be back.
Shaved ice was really good but the lady working there was kinda rude.
Great authentic Shave ice. Many flavor choices. Very personable staff/owner. Quick service. Make sure to add the snowcap. Located in a shopping center strip mall, a little far for walking from surrounding resorts. Open later than most downtown stores. Inside holds about 8 people. Good quality /quantity for the price.
It's a shaved ice place, but they have the best ice cream I've ever had in my life. I think they said it's made on the big island somewhere. The ube and lilikoi flavors were so decadent, thick and creamy. Highly recommend!
Stopped in for ice cream while exploring Kona. The flavors were fine but nothing that really stood out. The texture was a bit icy and not as creamy as I was hoping for. Service was quick, but there wasn’t much warmth or interaction from the staff. It’s an alright spot if you’re nearby and want a cold treat, but I wouldn’t make a special trip.
Terrible customer service. First day we thought maybe the lady was having an off day. Kids liked it so we went the next morning but they weren’t open yet. We went back later in the day and walked in and she told us to get out because they were getting ready to clean up a mess in the floor ( which we didn’t see, maybe a few sticky spots if that’s what she was referring to as “mess”) and she told us to stand outside while they mopped and we could come back when done. No thanks ✌🏻 took our business elsewhere.
Small portions for shave ice with thick ice, not fine shaved at all. The coconut shave ice #5 had no flavor and the fresh coconut on top was sour. Poor lady working was overwhelmed and alone. Instead, Find a mom and pop spot away from the shopping center if you want something more authentic.
Got food poisoning here. Can't belive this place is still in business. Never again!

mortified by the horrendous smell of cigarettes. Smell like over use of air fresheners and smells like Portable potty. Amazing lady to meet if you love people who have horrible attitude and don’t want you in their store. Lady had no gloves on and proceeded to make my order. Saw her make someone’s ice shave with no gloves on. But overall everything was flavorless great place for people without taste buds!
The shave ice syrup flavors were bland and flavorless. There was a lack of syrup on the shave ice as well.
Rude and their halo halo wasn't good. This was our 2nd time trying them, thinking maybe the 1st was a fluke. Nope. They just suck. We won't try a 3rd time.
My friends and I went to this shop after we got lunch at KTA. I got the halo halo, my brother got the milk tea shave ice cone, and my two friends got the cookie dough ice cream and honey dew shave ice boba. When I got my halo halo, it tasted like ice with condensed milk on it, not even sweetened. The ube ice cream and the boba was the only salvageable part of the dessert. My friends ice cream had a hair on the spoon, and when we went to ask for another spoon, the server went about it in an unfriendly matter. The honey dew shave ice cone tastes like watered down melona with boba. The only good drink was the milk tea shave ice cone. Overpriced for not that good of a drink. This place feels like a tourist trap, but if you're looking for a convenient sweet treat this place is there for you.
My daughter's favorite place to go in Keauhou! 😉
