Gecko Girlz serves shaved ice that's a disappointment, and they even beg for five star reviews by giving free stickers (see my photo as proof). You will receive an enormous amount of shaved ice which is a great value, but that mountain of ice about the only value. The flavors are bland and unremarkable. Because they give you such a mountain of ice, the flavor syrup doesn't actually get all the way into the ice. You'll be left with an empty icy middle without any flavors at all. You can either go ask for more syrup, or do nothing if you're too far to return. It's just a bad construction, and the bland flavors don't help. Don't trust any five star reviews, they're probably people after free stickers.

We tried Lava Flow and Cherry Blossom shave ice creations, and each was huge and very delicious. Ice had a nice fluffy texture, and the cream snow caps were good. Lava flow was a bit citrusy, I liked the cherry blossom more as it was sweet and more mellow, plus the mochi and mac nut ice cream were amazing. Three of us shared the two shave ice creations, but one would have been enough since it was so big and worth the cost.

Fun cool treat to enjoy after a long beach day. Delicious and full of flavor. Enjoyed sitting and relaxing while watching a pick up game of volleyball right next to the shave ice shop. No public restrooms but the girl at the counter was nice enough to give me the code for the locked restroom around the back.
We are back tonight for the second time in two nights. We've tried just about everything on their artisanal creations menu. Everything is spectacular. This is some of the best haupia ice cream I've ever had. We eat a lot of shave ice because we live on another island here in Hawaii. We know good shave ice, and this is it. Do not miss the cherry blossom.

We got the Kona sunset in the regular size and it was delicious. The ice cream was a good compliment to the shaved ice and the Lychee flavors is to die for. They were super fast with the order, but parking around the area was a bit far to find.
