Not much choices on food. The crab legs were too small. Honestly not worth the $75. The seafood buffet was pretty much a rip off. It's not like how it use to before.

Service from the entire crew including Robert was excellent. Food was fresh and they kept the buffet clean. The poke station was awesome. Shrimp and crab legs were cooked perfectly. I did not try the pasta bar. The prime rib was disappointing. It was fresh and cooked well, just lacked seasoning.

If you are visiting the Big Island, or you're Kama'aina, (a resident) you must go to Honu's Sunday brunch. We were greeted warmly and enthusiastically and seated by our hostess Genevieve. We had excellent service from Raye, Marie, Chelsea and Robert. Now let's talk about the food! What a bountiful spread. Custom omelettes, 3 types of breakfast meats, loco moco, Eggs Benedict, fresh fish, salad, fruit, waffles, and all you can eat Alaskan Crab Legs with fresh drawn butter. And bottomless Mimosas or Bloody Mary's!! Hubby and I were ecstatic the rest of the day because we started with awesome food, ambiance and service.

We arrived for our reservation 15 minutes early, and we got seated right away. The prime rib was nice and soft. Portion was huge. Made to order Poke Station was awesome. Crab legs were perfectly seasoned. Sashimi was delicious .. shrimp was huge. I didn't try the chowder . Bake goodies were enough for me, and the ice cream station had many choices. Our waiter was on time . Always keeping our glass full. Plates were cleared promptly . Everything was perfect . I gave a 4 star for the fish and chicken dish. I'd rather have a dish that was made with totally different taste instead. And for the chicken dish , maybe bbq chicken or chicken katsu. Other than that . The restaurant was clean. Dishes were full service was awsome . We'll be back for another special day for my family.

The view was amazing. We were there for the crab and prime rib buffet. Many choices and different types of food. The prime rib was perfect, however, the crab wasn't the best .

We dined at 5:30pm. The food was fresh and delicious. My favorite Seafood Buffet on island.

The price of the buffet was miss leading. There was a sign at the hostess counter w the pricing and it was $30 more than advertised. Presentation of the food was horrible. Raw fish was warm. Very unsanitary buffet. Everything had a potential contamination hazard. They actually changed out the ice cream scooper water after they overheard me tell my daughter it was a health code violation. We probably won't ever eat there again.

No clear check in process. Hostess took us to our table and left. Sat and waited for a server to come. We weren't sure if we were supposed to just go get our food from the buffet or wait. Finally a server came. When asked if he was assigned to our table he seemed to be lost. Then we asked if we should go to get our food or wait for information he said to go get our food. We asked if they had a wine list? What other drinks did they offer, then went to get a drink menu. Prices were a little excessive compared to other places we've been to in Hawaii. They served crab legs but didn't have crackers to break the shells. Will probably not return to this buffet.
