Excellent coffee and latte, excellent smoothie, excellent paninis. The pickles on the side were delicious. A little expensive, but pretty comparable pricing to everything else in Kona. Other places we ate were just as expensive and a little disappointing, Hungry Honu was not at all disappointing. Among all three sandwich and drink selections in our party, all were excellent.

My sisters and I visited Kona recently and had a wonderful experience at Hungry Honu. The staff were amazing, the manager spoke to us and was very welcoming. A great bonus was the free wifi and lounge area to hang out and feel so welcome. We look forward to coming back soon!

This place has really good coffee and a lot of different flavors to choose from! Everyone is always so nice when I come in too! I haven't actually sat in cafe yet but the vibe and set up is so nice! They have games and a lot of seating inside and outside!

Everything takes FOREVER here. Sandwich took 20 min and it was wrong, had to wait another 20 for the next!! Strawberry matcha was terrible. They had 4 groups waiting forever

Yummy coffee with macadamia milk and delicious dirty chai latte. My pineapple chicken salad sandwich was tasty and came with a small side of house made sweet pickles. My husband opted for hardboiled eggs on toast which he said was good. They open early which is great for getting a quick breakfast before our snorkeling tour.

Oh my gosh, we just polished off the tomato soup and the roast beef melt. To Die For Yummy! Don't miss this place, it's down an alley off of Ali'i Dr right in town, (near Pancho and Lefty's I think) a really cravable melt.
A cute little place in Kona. Not conveniently located lol. The yelp address on Apple Maps took me to some apartment structure and just kinda left me hanging. I ended up driving down a one way alley to find it. I didn't know where to park except in this huge parking lot that for 1 hour of parking was $13! I took my chances tho and didn't pre pay the parking. I'm assuming this place isn't too happening because there were 3 other customers. I'm not sure if the server was joking with one of the customers but at the register I heard cussing between them and it sounded kinda heated. I had the turkey avocado sandwich and it was as yummy as any deli sandwich. Not super impressed but didn't hate it.

Food was delicious! perfect portion size, healthy balanced meal with tons of flavor. drinks were great, I asked for less syrup and they made it perfectly. The people are so nice and friendly. would go again and again! outdoor seating area and good music!
