We loved this place! We didn't get a chance to try their breakfast but we did come by for dinner/drinks so we could watch the sunset. We had a group of 4 and were surprised we got a table right away. We had a great view right across the street from the water. They have an option to order directly from your phone but we also had a server come by and take our orders if we wanted a more traditional experience. Would love to come back again and try the breakfast!

First: to get here don’t use Google—the address is wrong. The restaurant is right next to Thai Rin, so try mapping to there. It was a 7-8 minute walk from Google’s incorrect address. We chose the fish and chips with sweet potato fries. Since fries are a treat, we always ask for them hot and crispy and were assured they would be. The fish was good, the fries lukewarm. Promised another batch, but it took so long that we’d finished drinks and were ready to go before they arrived. The server tried but was let down by the kitchen. No concession made on the check. We still tipped well for the server, but overall a disappointing experience.

I really wanted to enjoy this place since my friend recommended it as a nice breakfast place by the waters, but I was very disappointed by the service that was provided. Food- They offer a variety of breakfast dishes, such as basic breakfast platters, eggs Benedict, omelettes, pancakes/waffles, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and fresh fruit. We got the luau omelette and the roasted veggie omelette. The luau omelette was pretty brand. I enjoyed the roasted veggie omelette- there was a good variety of veggies and the flavors of the pesto and goat cheese blended well together. Overall, food was okay but the service was very disappointing.

Went here for breakfast two days in a row. First day they had $6 bloody marys - it was the best bloody mary I've ever had! The food was great, the service was pretty good, and the outdoor, ocean front view was spectacular. Such a good breakfast, we decided to do it again the following day. The second day, the bloody Mary was definitely not as good as the first. The food was a notch lower too. But the service left something to be desired. When we sat down, we were encouraged to scan the qr code and order via the app, so we ordered breakfast, my wife ordered coffee and I another bloody mary. The bloody Mary came out pretty fast, but the coffee never did. Couldn't flag down a server for my life. Once the breakfast came, we managed to get the coffee. I wanted ketchup and hot sauce, but the server was in and out so fast I couldn't even ask for it. Didn't bother trying to flag anyone down, just accepted that I wouldn't get it. I noticed many other table got those automatically. I have a feeling it was because I ordered via the app, and somehow fell through the cracks- we weren't the responsibility of any server maybe. So if I ever go again, I think I will forgo the app and wait for a server.

Such a great experience from the moment I got to the host stand. Initially when waiting in line to be seated I thought there would be a wait with 3 parties ahead of me. I got to the front of the line and was greeted with a friendly smile and with a lei and gift bag in my hand the hostess said "I see it's a special occasion so I have a table upstairs for you." I was seated in the shade at the rail with a beautiful clear ocean view. The server was sweet, very prompt, and personable. I ordered an iced latte with Macnut milk; good coffee. From the breakfast menu I ordered The Waipio Stack Breakfast with my eggs over medium, and an orange, pineapple, and ginger juice that is made fresh to order. I love that the juice is freshly juiced and that you are able to choose what is in your juice. My combo was delicious. The food was also very good. Love some crispy thick bacon Great experience overall.

Shared 2 basic breakfasts. 1st was a decent sized waffle, with 3 pieces of sausage. 2nd. Was 1 egg over easy, 3 pieces of bacon, some potatoes and 1 piece of toast. Everything tasted fresh and good - sausage was a bit spicy, in a great way. Most seats offer a great view of the ocean. Service was ok.

Started at steps. Got the 20 minute wait line. Not allowed to sit at fully staffed bar with only 2 customers, then got seated. Ordered two pizzas. Dough so tough you couldn't cut it. Given an ice tea but we didn't order and waited so long for our drinks, had to ask for our side salads, had to walk to bar to get straws and salt/pepper. Had asked for one Bill, but given two and max tip ready added in on both.

My friend who is local recommended we stop here to grab breakfast. It did not disappoint. The views were amazing and the atmosphere was fun and light! I got the big island basic and it was so good. The sour dough toast with the apricot jelly was my favorite thing I got! My bacon was cooked to perfection. I got just egg whites and they were runny. I would recommend anyone visiting the big island to stop by!

This was a place we randomly found nearby one of our activities. The building is cute and the outdoor seating has some great views. We came for breakfast. My husband got the island style pancakes and they were amazing! I tried the luau omelette and wasn't overly impressed. The pork didn't have a lot of flavor and it was pretty lackluster. However, the sausage was so, so good and my mocha with macadamia nut syrup was also amazing. I know some people may not care for this, but I loved being able to order and pay for our ticket from my phone (you can also order traditionally with the employees). One other downside was a glass of orange juice was $7. I know it is fresh, but still seemed pricey for a kid's orange juice. Overall, we did enjoy it!

Service was really slow. Lots of waiting for basic steps of service while watching the server stand in the kitchen chatting. Watched other tables get up and go get the servers for what they needed. Didn't seem to click or trigger change. We ordered an appetizer that never came, was never mentioned or realized by the server. Sympathetic to understaffed issues in hospitality, but this was not the case. Saw a manager walking the floor but didn't seem to value add with table touches or support to his team. He seemed to care more about closing the kitchen at 8 pm by tapping your watch constantly than service. Food was ok but nothing to write home about. Great view and location with potential, but falls short. Thank god your toast tab system allows us to pay with a QR code so we can leave after 45 minutes. $80 wasted and most importantly my vacation time wasted. I would have shared this feedback in person, but it was clear those working didn't care and it would have been a waste.

A good place to enjoy a meal with an ocean view. My friend and I shared the guava ribs appetizer and the pizza with chicken and bacon. Pizza was loaded with cheese and big chunks of chicken & bacon. The sweet onion topping also really helped balance it out. Guava ribs were tender and smoky. Would recommend for dinner at sunset here in Kona (:

My breakfast was basic but good. I didn't take a picture of it . My husband thought his was bland. Pros: Beautiful scenery on the sea coast Potatoes were seasoned My waitress was nice Fruit served with every meal Clean restrooms upstairs Easy order and pay through the code Was kind of ignored by a waitress and they kept forgetting parts of my food Cons: Bland Coconut syrup? Over prices Cappuccino was disgusting

Worst meal I had in all of Hawaii. The $22 fish tacos had a pinky finger worth of fish, and then a tablespoon of red cabbage. The tacos were 90% tortilla, and I had to use a microscope to see the actual ingredients. I had to go order a second meal someone else or else I would have starved to death by dinner (42 year old male, 185 pounds). Plus, it took over 10 minutes to get seated, and when I asked for more sauce, had to get up myself and ask a different server for it.

Same as it ever was. Still the best fish tacos in town, still the best deal on adult beverages at Happy Hour. Despite the 'rona, they are still keeping the quality up. Kudos to the crew here!

We canceled the hotel's breakfast package and decided to try here. We wound up coming back every day: excellent menu selection, good service, and very tasty food.
