Lovely spot for a breakfast stop, especially with a window view. The pineapple french toast is very very sweet but fresh and delicious. We stopped in here for drinks, an appetizer, and dessert - outstanding service, excellent food, incredibly tasty Mai Tai, and a stunning view of sunset.We truly enjoyed everything and will be back!The baked brie with macadamia nut and jam was outstanding!

I'm giving three stars only because my husband and I went there late at night. All they had was bar food, and it was not good at all. We ordered nachos and were cold, and the shrimp tacos were not great. Service was terrible, btw. They had karaoke, and everyone was having a great time. I will definitely give them a chance for breakfast. I understand it's good.

The pancakes are to die for in the Lava Java breakfast! Our waitresses, Tracey and Allie, was VERY understanding of our situation with having our 3 yr old child with us and us trying to enjoy the restaurant's breakfast items. They have a great sense of hospitality, and my spouse and I respect them even more for what they do. I highly recommend this place, just be here before 10 am to enjoy their food. Some of the customers here may be disrespectful and rude, but the staff here is DEFINITELY NOT! So thank the staff for what they do every chance that you get while you are there. ?
Despite the espresso machine being down the morning of my visit, the food was absolutely delicious and so was the coffee!! (Espresso was down, regular coffee and frappes were still good to order) The Lava Java breakfasts was very filling, the waffles and pancakes were so soft and warm, and the Portuguese sausages were flavorful. We ordered a side of rustic potatoes and they were very well seasoned and a great compliment to the meal. The coco-mocha frappe and iced spiced chai frappe were refreshing, well blended, and great overall. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming with staff being friendly and accommodating.
