This restaurant serves amazing Indian food with a good view of the sea and calming sounds of the waves. It is probably the best place to visit on the island if you are looking for vegetarian or vegan food options.We called for Samosa for appetizers something I wasnt expecting to find on the big island which tasted good with the tangy chutneys. We also called for a Malai Kofta and a paratha along with yellow daal. The food tasted amazing. We also called for the salted Lassi and onion salad to compliment our food.It was a cold breezy evening and Indian food with spices felt really good.

**Disappointing Experience at Kamana Kitchen**My recent visit to Kamana Kitchen left much to be desired. The pakora was disappointingly oily, and the overall quality of the food fell far below expectations. To add to the disappointment, the tea, which was served late, arrived cold, indicating a lack of attention to detail in the kitchen and service.Furthermore, the behavior of the person managing the restaurant, whom I believe mentioned being from Korea, was simply unacceptable for someone in the hospitality business. His demeanor was rude and inconsiderate, further souring the already disappointing experience.To make matters worse, during our meal, we encountered a cockroach at our table. When we brought this to the manager's attention, he accused us of lying, which was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.While I've had a wonderful dining experience at the Honolulu branch of this restaurant, my visit to the Kona location was a stark contrast. The service was lacking, and the staff seemed indifferent to providing a pleasant dining experience. Overall, a regrettable experience that falls far short of the standards expected from Kamana Kitchen.

We ordered takeout food from this place twice (Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Kadhai, Chicken Curry and Daal soup) . Overall kudos to the chef, authentic and quality food. Staff could be better but the chef is amazing. Keep up the good work! Definitely order again during our next visit.

Super delicious food!! We had lamb curry, butter chicken, garlic naan, cheese naan. Very well done and so satisfying. The waitstaff is super nice too. Ten stars!! Yum yum!

Best restaurant I’ve been too in Kona, food is fabulous and the service is amazing. I would highly recommend coming here for a date, or birthday party or any gathering with friends. Never to busy and your there first priority when it comes to getting you what you want when you want it. Seriously great restaurant, I don’t write reviews, but this service was worth the time to tell other!
