Donkey balls USED to be mac nuts dupped 50 times in chocolate and I loved them. The ones we bought yesterday were grainy and soft. Lousy fudge-like. Never buying again. Store was fine though. The product now sucks.
Do not buy. Worse than other locations and not affiliated with them. The Blue Balls from this location are disgusting. They taste very similar to Play-Doh. There are no layers of milk and white chocolate and it is just soft blue dough down to the nut center. When asking the worker about it, he immediately became agitated and he refused to try one to see if it was a bad batch. Says he doesn't like them either. Do not put these balls in your mouth.
The chocolate was good but tried to go 3 different times, and somehow the shop was always closed. Went once at 10:30 am, then tried 5:30pm the next day and finally 4pm the day after. Their hours online states 9am to 6pm but they clearly don’t follow this. One of the days I knocked on the store window (they should have been open according to their hours) and saw a woman inside who just looked at me and then proceeded to ignore me. Personally, I don’t think it’s worth it to visit this store because there is a high chance that it will be closed.
Wonderful coffee and Chocolate shop in Historic Kailua Village! -Kona
Parked the car in pay lot, walked to purchase donkey balls, arrived at the shop at 5:45 expecting the store to close at the posted 6:00 closing time. They were closed and long gone prior to their posted hours.
When the others have no stock at least Keoki’s shelves are full and ready for me to shop!
Great coffee!
Good selection

Tried to rip me off in 2 separate occasions. Over priced me the first time and I had to correct him in the price. I went back to get something else an hour later and he tried to short changed me. Just be careful if you’re a tourist.

Really cheap chocolate covered macadamia nuts… unfortunately taste was almost bad. The store is cute and nice to visit, but I recommend to buy a small one to just try.

Great service and really good selection of chocolates! Funny names for their products and often funny comments from the staff! I recommend a stop if you are in Kona!

Great store, funny names for the chocolate selection. The store rep was also hilarious when asking if we would carry our balls in a bag or in our hand! The chocolate itself tastes great too! Definitely stop by for some

Good selection coffee, teas
$8 for 4-5 golf ball sized chocolates. There’s so much chocolate, like a half inch surrounding the mac nut in the center, that you can’t even taste the nut.
Third time at this location. They didn’t have what I purchased last time, but that’s fine (supply chain/circumstance/etc). I waited outside by the cafe tables \\u0026 plugged my phone in for 5-9 minutes at outside outlet by cafe tables. The employee saw all of this, went outside for a smoke break, finished smoke break, then he went back inside. When I removed my phone charger he chose that moment to yell at me as I was walking away that I should have asked permission for the charge. There were no signs or other indicators that this charge was unacceptable (again, less than 10 minutes [to ensure I would maintain contact with my ride], outside the establishment where cafe tables and chairs are placed). I used to recommend this store- never again
