We were happy with the food. My partner came in hangry and we both left full and happy. Our waitress Jenny was sweet and attentive! She was happy to explain all the food and asked the chef about Gluten free options. Even with my hangry partner, she never got flustered. To top if off, we forgot something at the table and she found us in the parking lot to return it!!! 5 star service ??2 stars for atmosphere, for some reason hard rap was playing and the amount of f*bombs dropped over lunch was surprising! Eventually the music did change. But the quality and speed of the food, was undeniable! We will be back

It's just not good Chinese food. I could not go back here. We went for the buffet and things were cold and other items not replaced. The food we did have with the exception of the roast pork, which is more like Hawaiian food and was good, was just plain bad. The waitress/server was very nice. Sorry folks but improve the food and then let us know.

Went for late lunch during happy hour. Server was super friendly. Of the 3 of us, I ordered an appetizer After the drinks arrived, we all order mains. My appy was served and literally right behind were our mains. They were going to serve my burger while I hadn’t even tried the appy. Had to send the burger back. Driving into the burger, it was average at best. We have been here many times over the years and it seems to be getting progressively worse. I believe they have become complacent. I hope they can turn it around and not rest on their laurels.

Had dinner here just before sunset on a Thursday evening. Not too busy. Enjoyed happy hour from a table overlooking the sea wall across the street. Outstanding stuffed chicken breast for my wife and blackened ono for me (catch of the day). We were well taken care of by the wait staff. Altogether a wonderful evening, just as we'd expect from a top-notch restaurant "downtown" Kona midweek.

Excellent meal with great & friendly service. Good ambiance. Staff at this fine restaurant really hustle and the food was top notch. Pasta primavera is outstanding. Will be going back to Foster’s Kitchen real soon.

Great food, if ever you in Kona and want the best tasting food around come here, we had the crispy skin and charsui pork , the best. Everything else we ordered was great. Come here and be satisfied . Delicious

There was nothing about this place that was good. Atmosphere was loud and dirty. Staff were not involved. Had to order several times as what we wanted was already sold out (we were there at 6:30). And, that included beer taps. Orders were incorrect. Food was mediocre. Go someplace else.

White the setting for this restaurant affords a good view of the sunset, we arrived afterwards. There was a bit of confusion over our reservation as the business was making a move from one platform to another. Our waiter was friendly, but we found it odd that he didn't return to ask if we wanted a second cocktail. Our dinners were tasty, especially the vegetables, but in choosing the stuffed chicken, it was a bit dry and flavorless. Tourists will find a lot of choices on the menu, but very little fish options for those thinking there might be another chance to try local fish.

The salt and pepper chicken hits the spot

Food was very bland…. I ordered the beef broccoli and it had water pooling underneath it. We both took a bite or two of our plates and just left after paying.. We didn’t expect the food to be this bad, especially in such a convenient location. I wouldn’t recommend this place to the homeless.

We ordered take-out so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. Customer service was 100% over the phone. The food was disappointing in flavor.

You can't go wrong when you are eating outside on the deck with a view of the water. We went for dinner. Unfortunately, for the time of day, the sun was blinding. Our burger was okay but the gumbo was very good. The bad thing about the gumbo is it comes in such a small bowl. I ordered a large and it was in a bowl the size used for onion soup.
