Went here our last day in kona, wife got the daily special seafood boil, Cajun style. It was out of this world. Highly recomend

The food was delicious especially the seafood fried rice and Cajun fried chicken bucket. Everything went smoothly until we asked the waiter we wanted water and an order of their clam chowder the waiter took are order. We waited 30 minutes until we finished eating no clam chowder arrived nor our water. We didnt bother asking the waiter because they’re busy with the other tables. When we cant wait for our water and clam chowder we asked the bill so we can pay and leave. We found out their is a $5.75 tip included to our bill. We didnt want to pay for the tip since there service was terrible but we cant argue with them since they cant speak english. We just paid the total including the tip knowing that they dont deserve that tip. So basically this food place is either they serve you or not they’ll still get a tip no matter how bad their service is. Its sad knowing the reviews are great especially the food but the service is too poor.

I had a disappointing experience. We ordered the seafood boil with the sauce on the side, but unfortunately, it arrived with the sauce already on it. Since it was a special dinner, we decided not to complain initially and tried to enjoy it as is. However, the seafood boil was overly buttery and greasy, which made it hard to enjoy. When we asked the server if it could be redone with the sauce on the side, she declined and instead offered to just drain some of the butter. I’ve never been to a place that refused to fix their own mistake! Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

This is the second time I have come here. Both times the shell fish were either under cooked or over cooked. When brought to the servers attention, they just said "Oh ..." The flavors are spot on but if you don't cook it right? Hope they do better
