I have to say this HOME is Iike none other! It's a wonderful place to celebrate any occasion, but also a great space to be yourself and "hideaway." Special thanks to all of the great hospitable fam here, but especially Celeste! It's not this place that makes this woman stand out, but the culture definitely is elevated by her shining character! The first time I met Celeste, she was quick to support me as an individual and genuinely cared, but she also made a spot on *chefs kiss* gin martini with the right level of dirty! Thank you Sam's fam!!

We are locals and my partner and i both work in the restaurant industry. Its very rare that we go out for a pau hana but when we do, we go to Sams and see our Celest !!! Celest always remembers what our drinks are and half the time she will pour them before we reach our seats. She is one of the few bartenders who asks you about your day and generally cares about your answer. For a bar that is always so busy she finds time to personally take care of her guests with a smile, always. Ive never had a bad experience at sams!!! Its always been pleasure to go there and see their awesome staff:) don't forget to check out their karaoke and they now have a food truck a couple nights a week!!!

We are trying different dive bars and this one is at the top of my list. We went on Monday during the day. One reason was they are the only ones that validate parking. But beside that the bartender and local customers were among the friendliest people. And the drinks were great. If Derricks there ask for an old fashion and how here learned how to make it. We felt at home here, like locals but we always try to be "local".
