Food? AMAZING. Staff? ALSO AMAZING!! Music?? CAN BARELY HEAR ANYTHING BUT AMAZING!! I love everything about WILLIES except for the fact I gain 10 pounds every time I go, but honestly I have no one to blame but myself… WILLIES !!! Thank you for all you do!!

Last time we were here it was good. Unfortunately today our food seemed off and old/cold/burnt and now we both are sick to our stomach. :(

This place is awesome! My son and I got 2 three piece orders of chicken so he could try all the the hot sauce. The "Lava" is VERY hot, but totally eatable. We had front row seats to Flock of Egos, and they absolutely killed it 👏.
We will definitely be back.

I’ve come here quite a few times and always it is great! I love the chicken and waffles and get them every time. Their syrup has an incredible hint of cinnamon to it that is subtle yet very present. Food always comes out hot and fresh. Atmosphere is great at any time of the day. Music, cars, birds, it all blends together and makes a quaint but lively dinner.

They were super fast and everything was great. They do have gluten free breading and a dedicated fryer for the side winder fries, though it’s not advertised anywhere on their menu or website. Multiple GF options.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Willie's Hot Chicken at a tattoo shop down the street (not sure if his name was Willy!). He recommended we check it out while we were in Kona, and I'm so glad we did! We visited on the last night of our trip, and I was truly impressed—the chicken was absolutely delicious.

I brought my whole family with me, including my mom, stepdad, brother, sister, and my sister's partner, along with my three sons. It’s not easy to please everyone, especially since both my brother and sister have food sensitivities, but they all loved the food and didn't have any issues!

I really wish there was a Willie's Hot Chicken closer to home because I would definitely be a regular. Unfortunately, I live in WA, right across the bridge from Portland, OR, and we just can’t find anything like it around here.

Oh, and I found it super coincidental that the tattoo I got while I was there looked almost exactly like the design on the beer cups. Such a fun memory!

Kid-friendliness: The place was poppin and definitely had a bar and sports on the TV, but my family and I, including, three young boys sat outside and enjoyed the nice evening breeze.

Good chicken, several good heat choices, good sides to choose from. Willie's is a winner for your hot chicken dinner. Small interior dining but, there are many seats outdoors as long as it doesn't rain.

Willie's lives up to the hype. My chicken tenders were perfect; moist and tender on the inside, crunchy crust on the outside. I only tried the house sauce; but I will have to go back to try some of the other sauces.

The Frozen Mai Tai was delicious; and packed such a punch! 5 out of five; I will be visiting again.

We have been there several times now, and it is a must visit location whenever our family comes to visit. The food is great, the staff is wonderful, and it is just a great atmosphere.

Jerk chicken tenders and waffle fries were yummy!! Ranch sauce is mayo based.
