I took my granddaughter there and the manager asked us to leave because they had another guest. Also because we were locals and not white. Definently racist. I asked the manager for his boss and he refused. Extremely bad experience for the price. I would love the owner to contact me. If there was a time limit we should have been notified up front. There were at least 4 other parties that got there when we did but the manager picked on two women not bothering anyone and we spent over 180 dollars. This is not a family resturant

It is best to call and make reservations. I like how friendly the person I spoke with over the phone. But it would be nice to remind/inform the customer that they have an aloted space for parking. I like the ambiance when we had our dinner, not so crowded, quite relaxing. Servers were polite. Food serving is big, for me it is good for two person if you are a small eater. Food taste wise, well it is just OK. Am not sure if am expecting much from Italian foods because it is my favorite or there is just something wrong with my taste bud that night and I did not enjoy the food much. I ordered the chicken and Shrimp casino and sadly, I did not enjoy it. There's alot of onion and the way it was cut is kinda weird for an italian dish. Maybe I have watched too much cooking show that I expected alot from the presentation. The sauce, well I can still taste the wine from it so I just had few bites then ask for a box for take out later. The ossobucco paired with fried potatoes was good. The Veal Pasta that my hubby ordered is just OK. If you have a sweet tooth, they have several options, but next time will stick to my favorite Tiramisu. Wines and beers they have nice choices. Fruit drinks, not much option. So if you like mango or guava, it is not available. Will I ever comeback? I might ( not that soon though) since it is snot to farcof a drive to where I live.Parking: We did street parking just across the restaurant. I did not ask if they have free parking when I made the reservation. Though I noticed that a signage of a parking space for Asiago diners just beside the restaurant. Not sure if it is free. It would be nice if they will inform callers making reservation that they have parking space for their guest. Good thing I booked for 6 pm because there are few parking available along the street.

Assagio is the penultimate family Italian restaurant in Hawaii. When several locations, their recipes are delicious and fine and they deliver consistently. Everything is made from scratch, I believe. Highlights on the menu: chicken olio, eggplant parmigiana, tableside Cesar salad, and the tiramisu. You should make reservations because the place is always packed.Parking: There's covered parking for free under the huge metal structure next to the restaurant.

The food (especially Crab cakes with wonderful "white" sauce) was great. The service was also fairly good, but the drinks left a little too be desired. For a fine dining experience, I felt like the tables were too close together (we were crammed in a corner and if I had brought my elderly grandparents or anyone who was not "slim", it may have been uncomfortable). It also had somewhat of a "cheap" feel with the walls being lacquered plywood... But the food and service were worth going back.
THE BEST! Assagio's is an absolute GEM in Kailua. It is the ORIGINAL Assaggio's and the food and service there is top notch for sure. Large portions and EVERYTHING on the menu is great! Bar top is VERY small but there's so many great things about this place I could go on forever. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!Dietary restrictions: They can accommodateParking: Parking is in the lot right next to the restaurant and never full because the office area that parks there in the day time leaves by 5Kid-friendliness: Yes!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

The restaurant offers a great Italian dining experience, featuring an extensive variety of pastas and specialty dishes. The service is outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff. Our choices, including the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken Alla Parmigiana, were delectable – the fettuccine was wonderfully creamy with juicy meat, and the parmigiana was deliciously well-seasoned. The dining experience was completed with a delightful Chocolate Cake.

Great food and service. The fresh bread is always great! A touch let down by the anchovy pasta. Don't get me wrong it was still delicious. But I would call the dish fried garlic pasta with a hint of anchovy.
