Arrived @12 not really busy. Me and my friends first time here. We were rushed to order not even getting a chance to really take a look at the delicious food. Went inside and the service was not attentive. We never got a refill of water nor were there any waitresses to check up on us. The food was great and came out fast though.

Wow just wow ! The macadamia nut pancake is a flavor I will be chasing back at home. I dream of those pancakes 🥞 I really do the kalua pork omelette was rich and indulgent. It was pricy but so is most of the food on Oahu so I would say it’s a must try

The idea of having to pay before you get your food is fine, but it's a restaurant, so you are asked to tip at that time, which was really unfortunate. The service was so-so: the food for the four of us came out erratically and drinks didn't arrive until we all got our food.
People loved the Macadamia nut pancakes and the chicken katsu with standard rice and standard Mac salad was fine. The overpriced fountain drinks did not come with refills.
The atmosphere is superfluous stripmall NFL den, filled with memorabilia which I'm sure is important to someone.
So, if anything, get the food to go

We were there exactly 10 years ago, 3-4 times since, and again last week and the previous visits were FAR better than the experience last Thursday.
To start, the ordering system, where you decide outside the restaurant, pay, then are seated is clearly an avenue to get as many people in and out as quickly. It also masks fees and service charges and you don't notice until you're seated. I also understand adding a gratutity for large parties, most establishments do and it's an acceptable practice. But most restaurants do this for groups of 8 or more. B&K adds 18% for parties of 6 or more.
Next was the service - The staff looked like we were interrupting something they had to do which was more important. Drinks came AFTER the food. Plates were not set on the table but handed to the diner. When asked for additional plates to share items, Chinet (paper plates) were provided. Summoning someone for assistance was like flagging down a race car.
Finally, the food - A really long distance from the experience from years past The biggest take-away from the food was the pancakes did not have the texture and lightness as if they were made to order. It was obvious that these had previously been prepared in batches and slathered in sauce (which was also lacking) after the order was placed. Hamburger steak was over-seasoned and also tasted like assembly-line fare. The only members of our party who enjoyed the food were those who had never been there before.
Needless to say, we will not be spending any more of our hard-earned at Boots & Kimo's. Our previous 3-4 visits over the years were great. Now they only seem to want to get as many people in and out as quickly as possible. We're off to Eggs & Things!

Way OVERRATED! Everyone raves about their macadamia pancakes, but honestly, I’ve had far better elsewhere. The “sauce” was just vanilla with macadamia crumbs sprinkled on top nothing special. The place is expensive, and more famous for its name than its food. The restaurant is clean, but the service was underwhelming. Since you pay upfront, the staff barely checks on you or refills coffee or water. Overall, a big disappointment for us.

TOURIST TRAP ALERT - the food is identical to IHOP but priced like a 5-star place. You won’t see any locals here for a reason.
The food and service was mediocre at best and they make you pay + tip upfront. If you think TV Dinners are good and eat them everyday, you’ll think this place is good. If you like quality, this place isn’t for you.
Coffee was burned, next batch of coffee wasn’t burned but nothing special, took legit 15 minutes for a refill, omelets and pancakes were legit identical to IHOP (mediocre).
Got the macadamia pancakes, Maui Wowi omelet, egg plant Parmesan omelet, side of sausage, coffee + water, etc. $90 before tip.
