Daiichi Ramen - Kailua

Wonderful spot. We go every time we are in Kona. Amazing food at amazing prices and lovely service.

Amazing customer service, food comes fast, and with big size portions great place to dine in with friends or family with a good atmosphere.

The food is delicious and comes out very quickly. The staff are very timely and you will likely take some to go too. Great spot if you want a quick bite and be out the door in 20.

The portions are really good (bigger than the usual) but I didn’t love the taste of the ramen we ordered, we ordered some udon noodles for my daughter and the broth had no flavor.

Excellent food! Especially the ramen, fried rice, gyoza, and chicken katsu. Friendly staff and quick to go orders ?

Ordered the Black Garlic Ramen. The servers were spot on, always topping off my water and the food came out within 10 mins of me ordering. Food was good and delicious, especially the broth of the Ramen.

Avoid this place at all costs!!! We ordered Shoyu Chicken Ramen which was disgusting. The broth smelled like urine, & the chicken was gray, and gristly. This was totally inedible and revolting!! The price was $42. We demanded a refund for this health hazard of meal, and received it eventually after much haggling with the server.

It was a bit Chinese style of Japanese ramen, far from authentic Japanese. There was nothing much much other than noodle, soup, a piece of meat, a half of a boiled egg, some bamboo sprouts. They didn't even ask and assumed my order was to go...

Ordered take out, and the egg was so overcooked it had a green ring, and the meat was tough. Do not go here, there’s another ramen joint in town (Kailua) that’s incredible. Go there.
