9/7/24 - This place is absolutely beautiful and awesome. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They all have great pride in their work and in the business. I have seen so many businesses in this day and age where the staff do not seem to care about anything but that is not the case here. This is one of those small businesses that help make a difference. I always feel great walking out of here. Our dogs really love it as well. They start getting excited when we are about a block away because they know where we are going. I simply cannot say enough about what the owner has built here. Great job!

Every single pet owner on Oahu needs to visit Kailua Dog Bakery- Dogtown bakery! The owner is a true GEM & I can't sing her praises enough! ❤️❤️The way she interacts with not only 4 legged fur babies but their owners as well warms my heart! She always greets Milo with a smile & calls him by name, as he eagerly eats his pup cup! She gives back to the community & gives so much of herself to this business, I will always support her! Thank you for all the love & delicious treats, you are a gift to Kailua!!

My daughter was excited about shopping at Dogtown Bakery. We don’t live in Kailua but drove there from Mililani just to shop there. The mall has signs posted reminding people that bathrooms are only available to customers ( something to that effect). We entered Dogtown Bakery with me pushing a dog stroller and my daughter carrying her puppy. Clearly we were there to shop in their store. I asked the owner who was standing near me if I could use the restroom. She curtly said someone else already had they key, and was currently in the restroom, then left the shop. I thanked her and waited while my daughter decided what she wanted to purchase. I later asked the clerk, who was assisting my daughter, to let me know when the restroom key was returned by the person who was ahead of me. She replied that nobody was using the restroom and handed me the key which was hanging in plain view on the wall behind the register counter. I inquired if the woman who left the store was the owner and she confirmed it was. There was no way the owner could not have seen the restroom keys hanging on the wall. It is a small store and we were the only customers in the shop at that time. Is seems that their policy is that customers can only use the mall restroom after they make a purchase. It doesn't matter if customers are legitimately in their store to shop. The clerk was very helpful but the owner’s behavior left a bad taste in my mouth. Very unfriendly and inhospitable. Do we need to present her with a receipt to use the mall bathroom key? My daughter made a purchase but after we left the store, and I told her what happened, she said that she would not shop there in the future. I will not return as well.

My dog Puina and I LOVE the dogtown bakery in Kailua! We always find so many cute bandanas annd bows and they have the best cakes and cupcakes for dog birthdays! The people are super nice and helpful!

My dog loves the dog biscuits and breakfast treats I sometimes buy her from the Kaka'ako Farmer's Market. These are the most recent treats I bought for her, and she inhaled them.

Love this place! Found them at the Pali Lanes farmers market years ago. So glad they now have a store. My dog has stage 2 kidney disease and Dogtown Bakery has made his food for 2 years. He’s doing awesome on it.

Found the perfect gifts for my fur baby at this cute shop. Local treats and cute fuzzy pineapples! My dog went crazy for the pineapple and loved the treats. Definitely the perfect spot to get your fur baby a special treat!

This cake was so stinking cute!!!! The price was awesome, and my pup (plus our other pup as well) ate this up! They thought it was delicious, cake was adorable, and it was affordable. Definitely will be coming back♥️

Sometimes smells strongly of sweet potato, I thought it was corn. I like the selection of dog shampoo bars. I bought pumpkin spice for my boys. My younger sister finds the pumpkin spice/wet dog smell combo atrocious, but it's better than just the wet dog smell. Might have to try a different bar next time.
