Locals love this place. Garlic chicken is the favorite and the poke bowl truly holds its own against other fish places. Awesome place highly reccomend

The garlic chicken here is so good! We ordered a regular plate to share and it was more than enough! The staff were nice and service was fast. The shop inside is small so you just order your food and there's seating outside. This place is Perfect for picking up food before you go to the beach! They have a lot of options on the menu.

A local recommended this spot, and I’m glad they did! I ordered the Garlic Chicken and Katsu. Both were solid choices, but the Garlic Chicken stole the show. Now I see why it’s their best seller: flavorful, crispy, and addictive. The Katsu was also really good, just a bit overshadowed by how great the garlic was. The mac salad was creamy and tasty too. Definitely a spot I’d return to for a casual, satisfying lunch.

We loved it so much we came back twice! Their garlic chicken was my favorite and my husband got one of their sandwiches (I can’t remember which one) and he loved it as well!

The food wasn't that great. Hawaii kai location was better and had better food.
Amazing food and great portions!
I rarely leave reviews, and I hate to bash on anything in Hawaii, but I just felt the need to share our experience here. Definitely the worst meal we’d had on our trip to Oahu. My husband and I stopped by for a quick meal before our flight back to the mainland. I got the mini katsu chicken and he got the loco moco lunch. I was watching the chef cook my food and I was honestly really grossed out. It looked like he picked up a chunk of soggy katsu chicken and just slapped it on the grill for a minute. When we got our food, every single piece of my chicken was fatty, chewy, and soggy. It was cold too! Like he didn’t even take the time to heat up the old leftover katsu. Just nasty. It was seriously inedible. Loco moco tasted like old beef, mac salad was literally just oily mayonnaise with some soggy noodles. Yikes. Service was quick, but very impersonal and cold. I hope the cashier is having better days in the future. Inside had no seating, was gloomy and dirty, and crammed with inventory that should’ve been kept in the kitchen. So sorry Fatboy’s! Would not recommend!
Family owned, good was made fresh and really good

The meat were so tough the plastic utensils broke. You'll have to chew each bite for at least five minutes before attempting to swallow it. Chicken was not fully cooked and parts of it was raw.
Okay so hear me out. Service can be slow, but it's worth the wait! They are steady and reliable. Workers are the nicest. Food is ono! Whether you're kamaaina or you're just visiting Kailua town, you will love this place.
Not greeted, unfriendly staff. 3 small slim short ribs for $20. Not grilled just flat top nasty. Mac salad all mayonnaise. Weak
Moa moa moa chicken was awesome! Helpful staff, even when I messed up the credit card charge.
Food is not as good as it used to be when I lived here 18 yrs ago.
The service has definitly gone down perhaps too busy to chit chat wirh customers. Before Kailua boomed with condos and tourists, every time you stopped in the owner would greet you with a smile. Made you feel welcome. Definitely didnt give the mom and pop place kind of vibe.
