Awesome place for a night cap. Food is some of the best this side of Oahu. Weekends offer live music from talented artists, of different genres. You gotta check it out.

We drove here from Waikiki on a whim and glad we came. All the food was great, fresh and super tasty. The chestnut tart was a wonderful surprise.
The service is worth noting. The wait staff are patient and do great. The bartender also roams and checks in. Not sure if we will ever make it back here again but it was well worth it.

Not a fan of this place. Feels overpriced for the food quality and service you get compared to other restaurants in the area. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Love this place our new favorite evening out just about ate everything on the menu already wine choices are perfect I seen a few bad reviews didn't know what to expect haven't been there in a while but as I read these bad reviews I I see some people holding restaurants hostage with bad reviews expecting to get something free from them the way I look at it if it wasn't good don't go back me I'm happy you won't be going cuz you guys sound like a bummer thank you me on the other hand will be going back

I came in last saturday for a late night drink with my girlfriends and Gwen is absolutely amazing behind the bar! She’s friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel welcome the moment you sit down. If you’re stopping by Formaggio, definitely grab a seat at the bar and let Gwen take care of you, you won’t regret it! Definitely recommend this place it is a solid 10/10. props to the chefs everything was absolutely delicious!
Ordered a Kobe wagu burger. Expected more from this place. The meat was a good quality but they ruined it with a ridiculous amount of salt. Not sure if that was to preserve the meat or someone very heavy handed. It was almost inedible. It's always hit or miss. Unfortunately I give up.

We were a party of 4 and greeted warmly when we walked in at 6pm. The evening started well w/ attention to taking our beverage & appetizer orders. Calamari appetizer fantastic! Light, crispy, tender & not greasy at all. We were happy, but not for long We ordered: - 1 house & 1 caesar salad w/ side dressing. - 1 house salad dressed – garlic ribeye - pono pork pasta - kobe burger The menu descriptions are vague. Pono Pork Pasta described as w/ cream sauce. Pono Pork says local & naturally farmed, but how is it prepared? Is it a cutlet w/ a pasta side? or pulled pork like kalua? Server says "it's exactly like kalua pork". Hubby loves pulled pork and orders that. Ribeye says “garlic ribeye”. Friend asks "Is it grilled?" Server says "yes, it's grilled". Friend orders that. Orders were delivered: - Friends who asked for side dressing got both their salads tossed w/ dressing. (bill shows “side dressing” noted) - The server put the ribeye down, then the pasta. She says “enjoy” and walks away. She didn't have my burger and didn't say anything about it, so I figured she was just headed back to the kitchen. Instead, she went to the bar to chat. - The ribeye was pale & sickly looking. No grill marks at all. It looked boiled w/ no “grilled” taste at all. This is a $61 ribeye and it looks and tastes boiled & blah. - The pork in the pasta was not pulled pork at all - - it was crumbled pork sausage. The texture and taste was definitely crumbled sausage. - Server comes to fill our water 10 min later. I ask "is my burger on the way?". She says "yes it is". 10 min after that, our friend walks up to the bar to ask. Told "it's coming". - 35 min later & everyone has almost finished their meals. I'm now looking to flag server down to cxl my order when she walks over with my burger. All she says is "sorry the kitchen is slow". There were a total of 14 diners + 1 person at the bar. Inexcusable. $250 and all we enjoyed was the calamari. Sorry, but we won't be back.
Really a nice place to have lunch or dinner. Good food and a good bar. Good service and Ambience. You won't go wrong here. Excellent

Tourist coming into town to explore the island. Locals welcomed us and showed us THE Hawaiian hospitality. We loved it and canceled our uber and dinner plans! If you want to have the authentic small Hawaiian town vibe this is the place to go!

Malia, Paige I, and TJ offered exceptional service to the highest degree. They took our party at last minute and were able to squeeze us in. Highly recommended amended for a relaxed vibe with Local feels.
The waiter working the 17th provided outstanding service despite being the only waitstaff available.
The chicken Marsala changed my life a little.
Go on a Saturday night to experience the live music! The dude is awesome, and plays a wide variety. The food is also good.
The chef made me an unbelievable eggplant, Parmesan sandwich and a gluten-free parmesan meal. The food was out of this world, and I am a picky New York resident
We all had the most delicious burgers! Our waitress was super friendly too! The only negative is that we waited a very long time for our food and the restaurant was almost empty. Order an appy if you’re starving!
