Perfect date night! We are honestly kicking ourselves for waiting so long to try this amazing restaurant. We went early to enjoy happy hour which was definitely worth it. The smoked salmon bruschetta was one of the best things I've ever ordered at a restaurant. For our mains we had the misoyaki butterfish (so good) and the fish and chips. we loved the food, soft live music so we can still talk and our waiter had great suggestions. This is our second time celebrating a birthday here while traveling to Kailua from Chicago. Highly recommend!
We've walked past this restaurant for years. Don't know why we haven't stopped in before because we've loved Roy's other places. The food was delicious from pupus of mushroom fries and ribs to the salad with delicious deep fried feta cheese. The Short ribs melted in your mouth along with the accompanying polenta. We ended the evening with tiramisu. It was so ono. Definitely will be back
