The food was Sooooo Salty, The spicy chicken was SOOOOO Salty. My hanai mom and we got the bowl take out and cost almost $50.00. If we would have dined in, I would have asked for our money back. What a waste of money.

Good Tacos and friendly staff. However there was an older staff member with a mustache and a staring problem which killed the atmosphere.

I’ve eaten here twice, the first time, about a year ago,I got the torta, it was tiny, the bread they used was like hamburger bread . I ate it, while zoning out as nothing about it stood out flavor wise, and if I remember correctly, it was about 20 dollars.
I decided to try this place again 2 days ago. It was taco Tuesday, so I managed to get 4 tacos and a drink for just under 20 dollars. I had a better experience this time, but overall not a great one, as I couldn’t get past the corn tortillas being “raw” and starchy. They were lightly warmed up almost as if it was not know that they need to be fully heated or “cooked” up until the texture changes. Maybe I could get a positive experience in the future, but unfortunately right now, it’s lower on my list for Mexican places; as someone who grew up in a Mexican household, this place has not scratched that itch.

Ah-mazing food, the best horchata I've ever had, but wasn't aware it wasn't a sit down and order a margarita and relax place. Rather, it's a similar setup to Chipotle.
Excellent food, very friendly service with a smile. 😊 Had the Caritas tacos and a Carne Asada taco with rice and beans. Great job!

Ordered nachos online for pickup as part of a bigger order, with extra guac for $5. Despite the description (see photo) the nachos came with no meat, beans, and no guac (even though I paid for extra on top of what it already comes with it). Didn’t see this until order made its way home. Nobody answers the phone listed on google and the jalapenos808 website itself doesn’t list a phone number, so now I’m out $23+ for a sad order of chips, cheese sauce, and lettuce :(

Everything was so fresh and good...no seafood options that day..veggies were still ono and such a nice chill vibe to take ur time and enjoy. Very authentic flavors and staff was full of aloha also!
