Not sure what hairs happened to this place but the menu is not the same and the service was below par.
Disappointed to say the least and although I've been coming here for years, it's probably the last time for me. 30 minutes to get our meal after we ordered, maybe 1 follow on check and waited forever to get my bill.

Saw this place had good reviews, so I thought my husband and I could give it a try. There was only one waitress who was covering bartending and regular food service. She was very nice but only focusing on the bartending service. Which is not a her fault as the appeared to be understaffed and the bar was super busy. We had to go ask for the check when we were done. The food was mediocre, not amazing but not bad.

Currently in Kailua, traveling for vacation- wife and I decided to stop in here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The food wasn’t bad for being labeled a pub/grill, I had the fish and chips and the wife had the French dip, both were fine in my opinion.
Service was decent, the waitress was also the bartender- even though we were not seated in the bar area. She was very nice and kind! Unfortunately, it appeared she was the only person working (aside from the cook) on a Saturday afternoon (college football season) w/ a slammed bar. This made things challenging when needing service/requesting the check.
All in all- this is a place where you can grab a bite to eat, get a cold beer/drink, and watch sports/TV. The beer selection is diverse and offers plenty of variety, something for everyone. Same deal with the food- good variety of options, something for everyone.

We came for lunch and drinks. They were transitioning to a new drink menu. That would have been fine, however they didn't have the new menu and couldn't make most of the drinks on the current menu due to not having the ingredients. While we understand this kind of transition can be good, basically running yourself out of stock just to make room for the new and not having a interim menu is disappointing. When we asked if they could make basic drinks, the bartender/waitress clearly didn't have a great knowledge of mixology. My wife ordered a white Russian which was made with milk.
Perhaps once the new menu is fully up and running it will be better. However I can't recommended this location based on the poor management of the transition.

Took over an hour to get our order. We watched as other customers that arrived after us received thier orders before us.

Waited 40 minutes for food to come out. Burgers didn’t have avacado as ordered and instead was brought out after on the side. French onion soup appetizers came out after the burgers and the pizza. Food is good but keeping kids entertained for 45 minutes when the joint is empty is a challenge. Wouldn’t have stayed if we knew the food would take this long. Would rather the waitress just be honest.
I don’t know how this place has such high reviews. Their food was just ok. We ordered pizza, pasta & wings. They were more on the saltier side. Maybe it’s not a place for tourist & more for just locals. And definitely not a place for families. As a restaurant you should be able to serve families just as you would who wants to use the bar section.
We came on a weekday in the afternoon where it wasn’t even busy. Yet the wait time was super long. For our order & just getting our food. Our server was also the bartender & waiting for her took FOREVER. She was more concerned serving the bar & getting her tips there. Even getting our bill took way toooo long my husband had to go to the bar section just to pay.
Anyways don’t recommend def if you’re a family & a tourist.

The bartenders are known credit card scammers. Don’t go unless you are paying cash. The specific bartender was Emily

We had the Tomahawk dinner. The oysters for appetizer. And the cheesecake for dessert. All absolutely amazing! The staff was really amazing. Love this place highly recommend!
