Starbucks

I put an unflattering comment earlier after memorial day and would like to revise my judgement of Starbucks Kailua. I'm impressed with the changes made after my posting. Well done Starbucks!

Ordered two venti summer skies drinks with no ice. The barista asks if it’s ok if there’s room left in the cup. Naturally I’m confused, so I just say no because why would I pay the same amount for less drink. We end up settling for having ice and she gave us mostly ice. After drinking all the liquid, more than half of the cup is just ice. Essentially we just payed $15 for two cups of flavored ice.

Very nice interior. The refill deal when you stay in store makes this a great deal! Restroom inside.

The folks helping were fast and kind, ready to help at a moments notice. Coffee was solid too. Can't ask for more than that!

Ordered a lavender iced matcha and got it after 30 mins and not even blended properly

The baristas are awesome and so nice. I go in the morning often. It is very busy in the morning but they still have positive energy!

Everyone working here is the nicest. The spot is convenient and a great place to gather for small meetings, etc. like the online ordering option.

The problem is that it took the place of mom and pop coffee shops that came before it. Makes me sad to see that they were replaced with a corporation that doesn't treat the workers very well overall (hopefully not in this store in particular).

Clean Starbucks with lots of seating to do homework. My drink was made quick and well, I enjoyed my time here as I studied for my class. WiFi was great and lots of parking. Also outdoor seating as well and the music in here was great.

Terrible drinks. They tasted awful and for how expensive they were, your barista needs more training. Time your espresso shots!! Steam milk properly. Add correct syrups. A person's coffee dictates the whole day. Keep that in mind when making them.

Menu is consistent with all other properties, but it's one of the few locations where there's power readily available for at least 20 seats inside. I'm finding that newer locations and others shops are lacking adequate (if at all) access to power. Because of this, I tend to stay and work remotely more and at times even get a 2nd drink and/or snack.
