My overall rating is not a reflection of the great customer service we experienced. This review strictly for the food itself. We were looking for a good steak place in Kailua, and we saw that the yelp review was very high so we had high expectations. We got the large steak plate, and I have to admit that the amount of steak provided was decent, I would think it would be worth it for the amount they give you. However, I wasn't too impressed with the overall experience of eating. The steak was very dry, and there was no fat on it. No fat equals no flavor. I think that's the reason why they put this soy /sweet/chili sauce on it to maybe try to give it flavor, but the thing is I didn't care for the sauce. It would've been better if they left the sauce on the side for me to decide whether or not I wanted to put it on my steak. I would have been satisfied with salt and pepper alone to be honest, but not on this stake. Also, I had to really chew the steak, which meant that it was a bit tough. Overall, it wasn't the best experience. I've eaten at places that were cheaper and the steak was a lot better. When I arrived at the establishment, I was a bit shocked as well. It looked like a mom and Pop store I was expecting more of a restaurant or storefront experience. Still, the best food tends to come from the hole in the walls type of food establishment. But the steak didn't do anything for me... I probably won't return, not because I was treated bad, or because I didn't like the people on the other end of the counter, but because of the food itself.

LA galbi is delicious. Run by a Korean owner. I can't really hear what you're saying;; I think it would be better if you responded with a little smile. If you want to eat in the restaurant, you have to stand and most of them take out. The price is very attractive compared to Hawaiian prices.

I'll be honest and say liquor stores don't give me the safest vibe regardless of where they are, but through word of mouth I was told this is the place for some super bomb steak! Definitely a don't judge a book by it's cover moment because food did not disappoint! Make sure to use their sauce for your plate!! :) Will be adding this cheap eats grab & go to my list when I'm in the area. It was consistently busy when we visited so it's a neighborhood fave!

Love this place, I've only been on island for 2 weeks and have eaten here 4 times!! I've gotten the mixed plate with steak and chicken, as well as, just the steak plate. The meat is always tender every time. Friendly and fast service!
This place was awesome! We only knew to try it because my brother lived on Oahu for about a year while working. It's a whole in the wall but an awesome place to get some steak! We went twice for lunch while we were here. Service was fast and great! No place to eat inside just take and go.

Always always give great food. Never misses! Steak and rice on point and the cashier lady is always so nice !!!
This place is a hole in the wall plate lunch spot in Kailua right across from Walgreens. They have steak plates, bbq plates, etc,l. The prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good, There could be a long wait sometimes but I always make sure to call ahead and the food is usually done in about 10-15 minutes. The steak plates come with steak, rice, and a side salad with either Italian dressing or ranch. The steak is tender and flavorful, great for the price.

Okay this is a hole in the wall type food joint. I found it through Yelp. Guys the food here is delicious. The only thing was the noodles were not as tasty. But everything else was amazing. The lady from the market said this place was really popular. If in the area give them a try.

I wish I took a picture of my food.... Oh it was so tasty! I had a steak and shrimp plate with noodles and we poured some of that secret sauce they've got and the flavors just dance in your mouth as you eat it.... They were pretty quick with getting the food ready.... It's a take away kind of place and it's a legit hole in the wall because it's inside the Oneawa market.... It's was delicious! Definitely going back for more again.... Best part is that they're priced really well too!
