Best Subway around! This place has an awesome crew whenever I go. I'm never in there for more than 5 minute, my food always looks great, and they're super friendly! I have 2 subways closer to home but I'll always come here for my sandwiches.

I hope the person who owns this franchise is a true local individual!!! the sandwiches there are always SO PACKED with everything!! unlike Timmy t's in Kailua. I've given them THREE chances, and they have always failed..just this past week ordered a simple tuna sandwich, very plain and boring, nooo taste on the tuna salad, as this subway (hamakua) truly delivers... choke toppings and meat of your choice!!! plus da staff get way more aloha than Timmy t's...

This is the best Subway on the island. Veggies are fresh, bread tested great and service was awesome! On the side of Safeway with lots of parking. Eating in door is available. Service with a smile!

Ate there when I was in Kailua and this has to be one of the best Subways around. Clean, portions of ingredients are spot on, very skilled and attentive staff. Great place to stop and have a sandwich if you are in Kailua.

Guy making my sandwich kept touching his hair and mask while making my sandwich, unreal. Especially now Covid and germs, the guy needs health Sanitary training plus it’s common sense you change your gloves if you touch your face and especially face mask when you’re preparing or touching food.

Have been going to this location off and on for years. This particular location has the most impeccable service I've received at any Subway in the world. I wish I remembered the name of the guy that's always there, but his service is especially award worthy. One of the best examples of customer service I've ever received, and he does it consistently. The food is always good and prepared fast. My only complaint has nothing to do with the actual store or employees, but the Subway mobile app needs to add more options at his location, namely pastrami, for one. Sometimes I have to go to other locations because of this, but I'd rather keep giving business to this store, because they treat me right. If you enjoy Subway and great customer service makes your day, this is your new favorite location.

Ok so since covid started we have only seen prices go up while quality and quantity tend to suffer. What an AMAZING surprise to see that Subway on Hamakua FAR SURPASSED my wildest expectations. This was easily the BEST Subway sandwich I have had in YEARS - and the BEST one I have had from a Kailua Subway - EVER! Just outstanding. I ordered online and picked up my order a little early - but it was just about ready! The sandwich was packed with veggies and everything I specified on my order. This was worth every penny and I'd even pay more for this level of quality and quantity! Great job guys - thank you!!

This is the BEST Subway we have in K-town hands down!! I would give them 10 stars if I could!! The guy and gal there are friendly. They are GENEROUS with their portions,you don't have to keep asking for more bell peppers after you get 2 more slices, etc. Got a cold cut combo and it was GREAT!! The place looked clean the food fresh and not all dried looking. The other locations in K-town were very stingy with veggies and had a poor attitude. In fact the woman at the one in the shopping center very rudely threw my credit card back at me, after I got 4 foot long sandwiches!!
