Love the tacos, some of the most authentic flavors on island. My only gripe is how tiny they are. Typically taquerias give 2 tortillas with street tacos and you can make a second taco with the leftover meat, so it’s a disappointing that these only give one. The salsas are so good and glad they don’t skimp. Sad that 100 bucks wasn’t enough to feed my family(2 adults 2 kids) given the small portions of food. Also, the horchata was so gritty, I’ve never experienced that before in an agua fresca. Overall good food and atmosphere, bummer prices.

Amazing vegan tacos and delicious hot sauces! They have a vegan cheese and can make the vegetarian taco completely vegan by substituting the cojita with it. So glad we stopped in!Vegetarian options: The mushroom and fried tofu taco are both vegan, and they easily substituted the cojita cheese on the vegetarian tacos for the vegan cheese to make it vegan.

Food is good. Fast service. Not too expensive and very low-key atmosphere. Love it.

Super yummy little taco place. They make their own fresh tortillas. Their mixed drinks are the bomb dot com. Food tends to come out swiftly and it's delish. Would recommend.

It was awhile since we drove to Kailua. To our delight the first family group arrived earlier for a meet up at The Whole Foods, they were already at the newly opened eatery. We did have to wait awhile for our order than the other rest of food we ordered...it was worth the wait. We will definitely go back for a drive there to dine in again. We were so hungry that I've forgotten to take photos of our orders!

Authentic and delicious! Take it from this traveling Californian, if you're looking for amazing & delicious street tacos, stop looking and eat here. Going back to try alcoholic beverages with food next time.

Place was okay, but way over priced for the food that was served. Someone needs to tell them what a quesadilla is.

Very delicious food I get when I visit my tutu in Windward side but only complaint is overprice of the food . It is very yummy just cannot believe over 100 dollars to feed us 2 and my 10 yo daughter . (With 15% tip) . The portion size also a bit smaller side . Though I will say it in a great location and easy to find and the staff helpful .

Now I've tried all of the Mexican restaurants in Kailua. This to me is by far the best of the bunch. Not cheap, but it seems that the sauces and flavors are fresh and more authentic than your ave HI Mexican cafe. The small cup of beans was definitely homemade, delicious, seasoned with cilantro, Mexican cheese and raw white onion. A little precious, about 3 ounces for 6 bucks? Wow, but yeah it was good. The mole taco was also small but also delicious. So I'd say to get a normal sized meal is going to run you around 35 bucks. But I will be back I want to try the carne asada and carnitas.

The Grilled Ono fish taco was very good. The Carne Asada taco was good. If I might add couple of recommendations. 1. The beef should be chopped instead of cut in cubes. It will add more flavor by holding the sauce.2. Delete the beans in the taco. It detracts from the flavor. 3. Home-made tortilla was good. Singular. They are too thin to hold the taco fillings. All of our tacos fell apart. They should either use a thicker tortilla or use 2 tortillas.4. Also, the salsa should be a little more smoky. It was too light.5. Put the salsa or the sauce on top of the meat. This will prevent the tortillas from getting soggy. Mako g it fall apart. 6. 3 Red umbrellas in the front will not only attract customers. But also it will look good and functional. 7. Watermelon Mezcal margaritas were strong and good. Just wish it was a little larger.

Came by for a quick pit stop, service was fast and we got our food fairly quickly. Got the fish tacos, which were delicious with plenty of flavor. The tortillas were tiny though, and for the price, didn’t really see worth the cost ($5.50ish).
