It really doesn't look like much from the outside but when you walk in it has this small town, everyone knows everyone and have been coming here for 20 years kind of place. We just stepped b/c the wife and I wanted some coffee. Coffee ended up being quite tasty, no complaints. I just got regular coffee. My wife got some macadamia one and she said it tasted burnt but I couldn't taste it when I tried it. I did like mine better though. Up on the board was a bagel and cream cheese for $3.95. Growing up in NY, I'm a sucker for a bagel and I was a little hungry anyways so I pulled the trigger. I got a sesame seed, one of my favorites, toasted. I thought they would put the cream cheese on but instead it came in a little plastic container. I enjoyed my bagel. Inside is nothing to write home about but it had a small town charm to it. Like they hadn't updated anything in decades but they took good care of the place. It really felt like we were somewhere else, not Hawaii. The server/cashier was so nice and pleasant. They were pretty quick with our coffees and my bagel. We definitely marked this spot down for the next time we do our bimonthly around the island drive. Oh yeah, 20lb bags of ice for $4 is another plus. Great spot to stop when en route to N Shore camping.

The roast pork and gravy is my favorite. Fried rice is also good. Small hole in the wall but the food is good.

Upon entering the café, one is immediately enveloped in an atmosphere of unparalleled coziness and warmth. The interior design is a masterful blend of modern aesthetics and rustic charm. The soft, ambient lighting creates a soothing environment, complemented by carefully curated décor that exudes sophistication without sacrificing comfort. As the door swings open, the tantalizing aroma of freshly ground coffee beans wafts through the air, stimulating the senses and setting the stage for a remarkable culinary experience. The combination of rich, earthy coffee scents intermingling with the delicate notes of freshly baked pastries creates an olfactory symphony that captures the essence of the café. The café takes its coffee seriously, boasting a selection of ethically sourced, premium coffee beans from around the world. The baristas, akin to skilled artisans, expertly craft each cup with precision and care. From the intense, robust flavor of an espresso to the velvety smoothness of a latte, every sip is a revelation, an invitation to savor the nuanced complexities of the coffee spectrum. Beyond the exceptional coffee offerings, the café's menu is a testament to culinary creativity. Each dish is a work of art, carefully plated to delight both the eyes and the palate. From gourmet sandwiches bursting with fresh, locally sourced ingredients to decadent desserts that redefine indulgence, the culinary offerings are a celebration of flavor, texture, and culinary innovation. The staff at the café are not merely servers but rather ambassadors of hospitality. Their attentiveness is impeccable, and their knowledge of the menu is encyclopedic. They navigate the delicate balance between being unobtrusively present and readily available to cater to every customer's need, ensuring a dining experience that is seamless and enjoyable. Every aspect of the café, from the precision of the brewing process to the arrangement of the flowers on each table, reflects a commitment to detail that elevates it above the ordinary. The plates are not merely vessels for food; they are canvases upon which culinary masterpieces are presented. The napkins, the cutlery, the choice of music--all meticulously curated to create a harmonious symphony of sensory pleasure. In conclusion, this café is not just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it is an immersive journey into the realm of culinary and sensory excellence. It transcends the boundaries of a typical café, emerging as a destination where every detail, no matter how small, contributes to a symphony of flavors, aromas, and experiences that leave an indelible mark on the senses. The best in the nation!

Times Coffee Shop has been a local staple for so long in kailua my family has been going there for YEARS, the food is very homey and good but over the years the prices have gone up. Sit in area is tiny so on the weekends if you don't go in by 7am GOODLUCK you'll be waiting outside in the sun for a table and the website does offer online ordering.. this has NEVER been setup so you're forced to call for pickup orders but again if you call anytime after 8am goodluck, it always seems like nobody answers the phone when it's busy so you'll end up calling a minimum of 10 times before someone picks up and they let the phone ring until there's no dial tone. Pretty frustrating honestly. If they setup the online ordering or worked on answering the phone more timely this review would be a 5 . This is a consistent problem over the weekend and has happened to me multiple times.
