I’m usually not a complainer but this is just ridiculous. I ordered a turkey and cheese expecting to get a turkey and cheese sandwich. It’s not like I ordered something else and asked to take everything off. This sandwich and a personal bag of chips was over 12 dollars.

Never disappoints! Always my go to when I'm in the mood for a sando.

I know it's because I'm an old geezer from a different generation, but, the "head-banger" loud music in your Kailua store is NOT to my liking when I come in to pick up my sandwiches. But, 'to each his own', I guess. Your food is outstanding, though, and that's the most important thing, ya?!???

After signing up for a membership at a nearby coworking space, I took a stroll for some lunch and stumbled into Timmy T's. A small stand-alone sandwich shop seemed right up my alley! Approaching the space, there are a few tables and chairs outside for casual dining. Inside is air-conditioned and also includes tons of seating including a large picnic table. The walls are adorned with Hawaii-style photos and signs - lots of personality. I appreciate that the menu is giant and one of the major focal points of the place, not to mention the very inviting staff! From the moment I stepped into the place, the staff was super friendly, asked me if it was my first time, and then did a quick rundown of the menu - I REALLY appreciated that. Red lettering means the items are their most popular items, then she ran through correlating a few sandwiches to common sandwich names (for example: The Lanikai Luau sandwich is basically a BLT with turkey). Love that they took the time with me. As for lunch, I decided to go with the number 12: Club Kailua for $11.99 - Normal sando comes with roasted turkey, provolone cheese, avocado spread, cucumbers, sprouts, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. - You can choose to make your sandwich a walking salad (lettuce wrap), or have it with thick sliced 9-grain wheat bread, or just the standard 8-inch Hawaiian style bread. I went with the standard. - You have the option to add free add-ons like lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, red onions, sprouts, mayo, vinaigrette, dijon, and/or Italian herbs. I went with red onions - Additionally, they have a list of paid add-ons. Things like extra protein options, cheese, banana peppers, and pickle chips. Each add-on ranges from $1.49-$3.99. Huge fan of pickles so I went with a double add-on. I think overall, I have no complaints - I went in for a sandwich, and the overall experience checked most of my boxes! They stuffed the sando with toppings, I loved the avocado spread vs sliced avocados, and the pickle chips were thick - loved it. If there was one thing I would change, is to maybe toast the bread. By itself, it was a little bit dense, so maybe toasting the bread would help add a less dense texture. But overall, it was good :) I'll be around the area for the better part of 2 weeks so I look forward to returning and trying other combos!! Thanks, Timmy T's!

The fresh bead makes their sandwiches amazing. I didn't especially like my food being thrown at though, especially with the cost of it. The service is good and on task. I really liked the classic decor. Not to mention that this was the first place. I had a boars head pickle. I have never been a pickle person, but after having one here, this is now the only pickle that I will eat.

I used to love this place. It's totally gone down hill. When the girl said 15-20 minutes for my sandwich I thought "no way". Typically I walk in and am greeted with loud music and big "welcome, how can we help?!" This type I looked around, asked to pickup and was told to stand in line. So I impatiently waited and when I finally got to the register I was told my sandwiches weren't made yet- it'd been 20 minutes. Another 5 minutes I was handed, without a bag or napkins, three skinny looking sandwiches. So sad.

Terrible sandwich! Lettuce was old and there were barely any vegetables. I've had sandwiches from here before and they weren't this bad. Not anywhere worth $9. Seems like the service and the sandwiches have gone down. Won't be coming back here anymore. If I could give no stars that's what I would do. I'll take my money elsewhere next time I want a sandwich.

Great bread! Which is good because it definitely was the bulk of the sandwich. And surprised no pickles on sandwiches even though they make their own pickles. Nice vibe, good sandwich. No major complaints.

I went here for the first time because a friend said it was good. The staff was nice and friendly but I have to say it was the skimpiest sandwich I've ever had in my life. I made thicker sandwiches when I was a starving college student! What they make does not look anything like their published photos.I got the #5 (Da Vinnie). There was literally one slice of each type of meat. When I first opened the sandwich I thought I got someone's "no meat" sandwich. I was too tired and hungry and now wish I took a pic of it but it looks a lot like one of the other review photos in here. It's the first time in my life I ate a deli sandwich and was hungry less than 30 minutes later. I'm afraid to go back to give a second chance since pre-tipping 20% still got me such a skimpy sandwich.

I fell in love with these sandwiches when the Kailua shop opened right down the street. Excellent sandwiches and service, until this past year'ish. Admittedly, I have only had maybe five Grinders this year. The prices have increased, which is to be expected, but the grinds are worth it. The last two were not so impressive as one was very dry and seemingly tasteless, while the one I had just now was a spectacular sandwich until a long hair wrapped around my finger, strung from the sticker. Thankfully it was not in the sandwich itself. I understand this happens, even at the most expensive venues. It will not stop me from enjoying sandwiches in the future. It is common complacency. But it will make me even more conscious to the possibility of dissatisfaction. Aloha

Horrible! They want to put mayonnaise on an Italian sub. Stopped them at that, 2 pcs cheese, no prosciutto, no sepressata, no hots ( banana peppers are NOT hots), but just adding a spice sprinkle and oil makes magic in their opinion. Went on a recommendation, $19.75 for a small sub with a pickle on the side( I thought they meant in the sub, not an additional $3 charge!). Never go here if you want a real Italian sub, only posers would even claim this !
