Family owned and amazing sushi every time! They know us by name and face and it feels like family in there. Would recommend to anyone wanting authentic sushi. They never skimp out on the fish, the rolls are massive, and miso soup is always on the house!

Sweetest women ever. The woman at the front was very patient with us, and the food was so good. Waipuna Platter, huge serving, I went in a group of 3 and we weren’t even close to finishing it all. 💕
My family loves to eat here! The food is exceptional, the place is clean, and the staff is great. We are so glad we found this hidden gem.

I have been going to Waipuna sushi for a long time and it has been my go to spot for sushi in Kailua. They have a wide range of amazing menu options that it can be hard to choose! The staff are very nice and friendly. They are very open to substitutions and making it how you want. I have attached several pictures of items that are some of my favorites. They have a brand new item called “shrimp tempura curry” (see photo) which will be the one of many new items they are introducing. I felt the need to post this review to show how grateful I have been for many years.The sushi is fresh and very delicious! The new curry dish is great as well! My family members also love pairing their spicy options with a cold boba drink they also offer. I’m looking forward trying more of the new items soon! Mahalo!

So delicious and amazing price. The owner is so kind and the food was made SO FAST. She said 15 minutes and it was 10. Love it. We got 6 items for $38, so affordable too. The sushi itself was insanely fresh and super high quality. The rolls were way bigger than anything I’ve had in the area recently. Can’t wait to come again :) uncle Jason and Brandon’s roll was SO GOOD!!! Dynamite too. 10/10.
