This place has been a staple for this Marine since 1995.

Nearly 17 years of trekking over the H3 to come here and I’d say they still do some of the best sizzling kalbi and banchan on island. Has gotten a bit expensive over the years but always feels worth it.

While I love to see the same aunties/uncle keeping it going (the ones who will greet and say hello), I do have to say the other servers over the past few years are standoffish at best but mostly kind of rude and never fail to make you feel like a nuisance. Additionally, the ambiance has started to sag a bit even for a super no-frills hole-in-the-wall type of place. I don’t think it needs a crazy redo, just think clearing out all the office supplies/random stuff on the front tables could free up some chi in the space.

Would never argue against the food quality or the kindness of the owners/long-time staff but hope they can find a refresh in their wait staff and revival of the interior sometime in the near future.

We had the 3 combo lunch plate with bulgogi, dumplings, and japchae. It was delicious! We are only here on vacation but would definitely return if we lived here.

My husband and I got the meat jhun and chicken katsu and they were both Phenomenal. The meat jhun here is the best I have ever had, it's perfectly seasoned and sliced perfectly too.

This place does have a bit of a wait, if your wanting to dine in. It's a small restaurant and only sits a few tables. The dishes were amazingly fresh. I would definitely give this place another try. The food was amazing

If you’re looking for some of the best chicken wings and kimchi, check out Willow Tree! It’s a casual, welcoming spot with incredible flavors. I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy their epic meat jun!

Stopped by for my lunch today and it turned out great. The restaurant was quite busy considering that I came at the off hours. The workers were very efficient and polite. The food and the atmosphere were great.

Willow Tree has some of the best Korean food on the island! A small hole-in-the-wall type and family-run.

I love the meat jun, flavorful and generous serving. I also love the kimchi. They get very busy during lunch hour so be prepared to wait but it's worth it.

Don’t go to this establishment. They have poor business practices and refuse to follow the law! Eat at your own risk!

It is a wonderful establishment that I frequent every week to enjoy their lunch special. The spicy chicken katsu is delicious.

I would come back and try the lunch special. The bbq chicken is tender compared to other places.

My husband and I came for lunch around noon on a Friday and were immediately seated. I highly recommend the lunch combo so you can try multiple things. I ordered the fried mandoo, kalbi ribs, and bulgolgi. My husband got the spicy chicken wings, spicy tonkatsu (same flavor as the wings), and bulgolgi as well. Everything came out quickly and fresh! I would highly recommend as everything was full of flavor and very tasty!

Went to on 4:45 pm, already with lots of to go order ongoing and half full of restaurant after we sat down. Ordered Kalbi and kimchi Stew, meals come with rice, 5 side dishes and 1 soup. Kalbi is very tender and flavorful, but the kimchi stew is only on the average, feel lack of something, maybe not spicy enough? Overall, I can see this is a popular restaurant for locals, and the server remember their return customers need.
