Big Monster Sushi&Rice (LAWAI)

Fresh & flavorful poke! 5 stars for atmosphere because this is way more than just a food truck because the location is right in front of this artisanal warehouse with local vendors beautifully displaying unique wares, everything from art, pearls, soap, & pretty textiles. It has a coffee shop, gathering space warm vibe. Very cool.

Overall good poke.
The fish was great as was the cucumber. The rice was just ok, wish it was sushi rice instead of regular white rice. Not sure what the salad/lettuce did for the bowl, didn't do much for me.
The crab Rangoon tasted home made and was delicious, but a bit doughy and could have used a bit more crunch.

The food was delicious ?. Fresh, made to order and with lots of flavor. Only downside everything on menu is spicy. They were willing to make not spicy.

Really great poke bowl. I had the unagi and it was actual slabs of unagi! Great flavours and delicious assortment of veggies -- seaweed, beans, cukes, etc

Big Monster’s Jurassic Poke Bowl is the best poke on island! It’s such a good balance of fresh greens rice and super flavorful and fresh ahi. The sauces are incredible. The workers there are super helpful to guide you in what to order and the warehouse is a super sweet place to enjoy a Meal! You can choose from various outdoor or indoor dining options ❤️ ? they close at 4 so come before they close!

This truck has some of the best poke on the island. The fish was incredibly fresh, the sauces were perfect, and the bowl was just amazing overall. Would definitely return.

Friendly staff. Fresh food. The term Monster is a stretch if we're talking about the sizes. Regular sizes at regular sushi prices. Poke bowl hard a little too much sauce for my husband's liking but good flavor. Cucumber could have been a little more crunchy. Ginger And wasabi would have been a nice way to dress up the sushi burrito plate in my opinion. Overall,I would eat hear again
